Dear [Hotel Name / Management],
I checked in around 12:50 a.m. on the night of 2nd October. The man at the reception informed me that if I had booked directly through your website, I wouldn’t have been charged for parking. However, since my booking was made via Booking.com, I had to pay the parking charges.
Later, I asked him about the check-out time, and he kindly told me that although the usual time is 11:00 a.m., I could check out at 12:00 noon. I thanked him for that.
The next day, around 11:45 a.m., I went to iron my shirt before checking out, but unfortunately, the ironing room was very busy. Because of that, I got delayed and checked out around 12:45 p.m.
When I went to return my key at the reception, a lady at the desk asked me to pay extra money. I explained that the man on duty the previous night had allowed me to check out late and asked her to confirm with him. However, she and two other ladies argued with me for about 10 minutes and told me that I could not leave without paying. I then said they should contact the person who had given me permission. Eventually, the lady said they would claim the extra charge from Booking.com and allowed me to leave.
In my opinion, this was a very poor experience. The staff should not treat customers in such a manner.

The hotel was in a very convenient location and parking is available. The breakfast is very good. Fans are available on request.
The hotel badly needs renovation. Hallways are in poor condition with ripped wallpaper and beat up paintwork. Rooms and bathrooms in desperate need of updates

The breakfast included was a nice touch, average but exceptable.
Shower holder was broken so had to hold shower head with other hand, annoying but manageable it was reported but ignored

Liked how we were made welcome by the Reception staff and it was good to see smiling faces. Good customer service.
Got stuck in lift. Had to wait a few minutes before we were let out. Took the stairs after that.

Rundown .tiles mouldy in bathroom carpets stained curtains had a tear. Constant traffic noise.breakfast free but lukewarm
