Our room was very basic and outdated there were stains on the carpets, not what you expect when you’re paying £210 a night. Phone in the room wasn’t working so could not order room service or get hold of reception.

No draft excluder on bottom of door Green marks around plug in one of the sinks Shower curtain, how do we know this is clean? Some of the attachments not clipped to the curtain Shower kept moving down from position Not great water pressure Breakfast not told and no menu for breakfast saying you could order poached eggs etc When I asked if there was a twin room available (rather than a double which I had put as a preference) told all sold out, but available rooms were in Booking.com and their website for that night.

Location, booked x2 double beds but had to pay extra to secure them as I’d not booked directly but the beds were excellent.
Toilets done were broken, at the bar you advertised a burger and drink deal but then at the bar was told it was not available!

The staff were lovely and the breakfast was good, plenty of choice and good value for money. Good soundproofing which comes in handy on the busy street.
The bedroom carpet was covered in stains, there were also inexplicable stains on the ceiling above the bed that looked like bodily fluids which I reported and were cleaned. The advertised 'coffee maker' in the room is in fact a kettle. The bed was like a marshmallow, far too soft for me. Tiny corner shower that feels claustrophobic when you are in it.
