The room was great. Very comfortable, clean. The bed was big and comfy and the bathroom spacious and clean.
I miss the times when breakfast was included in the room price without having to pay a massive side fee. I know this is a sector-wide development but it's still a loss.

Everything. Good food, friendly staff, clean amenities. Hotel is in an ideal location, just up the road from arndale and even has around 4 halal restaurants nearby so food was easy to find.
The shower was incredibly small. I couldnt bend my knee to wash my thighs or my calves. The 'gym' had the bare minimum. 2 treadmills, 1 cycle, 2 cross trainers, leg press, bench press and a yoga mat. No free weights. It was disappointing to say the least with how much it's advertised.

Location is great. Hotel is surrounded by good transport connections and the shops are just round the corner. A lot of parking options even though expensive
From the main reception to the bedrooms, the hotel looks dated and lacking in maintenance investment. The extraction in our bathroom did not work. I booked a "premium" double room for me and my family (me, Mrs and two children under 10) and there was hardly space to drop our luggages. The carpet was drab. There was no window to allow any fresh air/ventilation. Beds were lacking firmness and I guess if used for long, one could end up with back pain. My 7 year old had a back pain after 1st night. The room has a bath and separate shower. I'm a "size S", and could barely turn inside the shower without knocking my elbow on the wall or door or some metal. The bath was absolutely useless as it didn't have an integrated shower. They should have installed a shower over the bath and get rid of the unnecessary separate shower cubicle. I've had much better experiences in budget hotels. For the price, this was not value for money. But location is excellent!
