Cleanliness, location and staff were lovely and helpful.
It is just so hot in the room we were in - 629 - airflow into the room felt nonexistent. Corridor was very warm too. Downstairs at reception and dining area was fine.

Clean tidy hotel
On arrival (late arrival) my room had changed to disabled access bath , toilet everything at ground level and queen bed I’d booked standard room when I complained was told booking.com terms and conditions then 10 minutes later knock at door and complimentary upgrade to king room.

We stayed at a different hotel the previous night and we had a much bettter experience here in Crowne Plaza Manchester City Centre. The lady at reception had a lovely welcoming smile when we arrived. All areas of the hotel were spotless. The room we stayed in had plenty of towels, pillows as well as ample tea/coffee/biscuits and water. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room was at an ambient temperature and the lighting was relaxing. We had buffet breakfast which offered the usual hotel selection. The lady on charge of the breakfast area and brought us to our table was well organised. Even though a large group tried to barge by ourselves and another couple who were waiting to be seated, she managed them perfectly. I would definitely be back. The hotel is in a great location. We were close to the Arndale shopping centre and also close to lots of bars/restaurants and coffee shops in the Northern Quarter.

2 families booked on booking.com at the same time. We both paid the same amount (a lot for one night). We both got upgraded to the 8th floor but only one of us was given access to the club lounge on the 8th floor.

The staff were absolutely lovely very helpful and welcoming. Yupin made our morning at breakfast she had exceptional customer service and made us feel so looked after. As did the rest of the staff even the chef said good morning have a nice day.
The room was a little too warm for my personal preference and I couldn't lower the temperature enough to comfortably sleep especially with there being no window to physically open. But if you like to be warm while you sleep then this is great! A very minor issue overall.

Almost everything about the room .
Beds was comfortable.
Lack of beverages in the fridge, maybe depending on age, have an order deal where we can have alcohol or if younger some pop .
