Overall the hotel is very clean and smart. Our suite was amazing at first sight, but after the initial 'wow!' there were a few signs of wear and tear here and there although nothing major. All of the staff were very friendly and polite, and the Club Room for guests staying in the suites was a lovely calm space with complimentary tea and coffee during the day plus complimentary alcoholic drinks, canapes and snacks in the evening. The food on offer for breakfast, both the hot options downstairs and the continental option in the Club Room, were excellent. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Manchester both on foot and by bus or tram.
There were some niggling signs of wear in the room which were a pity (wear and tear on the headboard, some damage to the top of a unit (thoughtfully hidden by carefully positioned complimentary prosecco and chocolates on arrival, so forgiven!), marks on the skirting and walls in places) but nothing major.

Communication between front desk and booking.com, some confusion around whether I had paid or not . I paid before arrival and this wasn’t communicated to the hotel !

Very good location, clean rooms, helpful reception staff.
Cleaning team were very noisy in the morning, although their cleaning was not that good at all. Price is a bit high for the service provided.

Room- after being upgraded to premier suite, beautiful view and toom was spacious
Location, perfect central location, China town, arndale center walking distance
Staff, helpful and super accommodating when we needed to change room Laura moved us to a Premier room and showed us around to make sure we were happy with it
Rooms are tired. Water marks on ceilings and water stains coming through fron the shower into the bedroom. The skirting had been affected by it too. For a brand like IHG they should keep this maintained.
Breakfast was nice but for the price of breakfast there woukd atleast be pancakes. Pretty basic again for a Crowne Plaza

Staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was very comfortable and so clean. Breakfast was great and a good choice of food.
There is no smart TV, so it's a bit limiting.

Great location, staff were great. Beds super comfy and lovely showers.
One of our rooms smelt like wet towels had been left in there. It was really unpleasant. The other was fine and no issues at all.
