The young man on arrival (Josh) was very accommodating. He was pleasant and welcoming. Asking us about our travel to the hotel, why we were staying there. (Anniversary).
The light into the lobby of our room (429) wasn't working. Slightly worrying for my wife. In the bathroom our shower door did not close properly, it was open at the bottom. Getting the floor wet. The handle on the door to the bathroom was very loose, so we did not close it just in case it came off.
Breakfast was very mediocre. The cooked breakfast was only like warm ( eggs, mushrooms, beans, black pudding, the only thing that was hot was the sausage.

Good location
Hotel felt really dated and expensive for what was on offer. We stay at plenty of hotels around this price point in various UK cities and this felt like a let down. Bathroom was particularly tired. Room layout was also strange like it was half empty.

Good location, room very clean, comfortable beds. Reception staff helpful and friendly.
The food at breakfast was of a good standard.
The bathroom appears recently refurbished and the shower cubicle feels very small even for an average sized adult.
We were unaware that the bar/restaurant was being refurbished, so the temporary set-up meant our table at breakfast was a wobbly table located next to building site warning signs.

Stylish hotel in the Northern Quarter, handy location for our night out. Our twin room had two double beds which were very comfortable, good soundproofing. The staff were all fantastic and the breakfast was top notch.

Great location. Friendly staff on check in/ out. Room was clean bid eough for my wife and I. Nice seperate shower cubicle. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great
The phone in the room didn't work when the wife asked me to call reception for a shower cap. When mentioned to reception they sai it would be fixed the next day but when we got back later that day it still wasn't workjng.
