The entrance and the welcome were excellent.
My room smelt of cigarettes and the shower was not very good at all, the water pressure was very low.

The room was very nice, especially for 3 people. Not many hotels have rooms for 3 adults.
The TV was very big, which is to my liking, especially when watching a World Cup final.
The bathroom was very spacious, so that's always a plus.
Loved the staff, all very friendly, and had great conversations with them.
If I ever need to book a hotel near the airport again, this will definitely be one of my top choices.
The AC was not working at a time when the weather was very hot, so that was inconvenient. While I appreciated the fans that were brought to the room, an AC would have been optimal.
Logging in to the WIFI required me to make an account on IHG One Rewards. It would not let me connect unless I did that. I could be wrong, and there is a way to connect without an account, but I couldn't figure that out.

Disappointing
The lift was very quick.
The reception area appears gloomy with reduced lighting. The hotel has definitely seen better days. The furniture and carpeting look dated and cheap. The bath has cracks along the edges where the bath meets the wall and there are dirt stains there. There is grime where the glass meets the metal on the shower door. The water pressure in the shower was poor and the shower itself is dated. Breakfast was boring, repetitive and limited.

The on-site restaurant, Sampan was just amazing, the best Asian food we've had in years. The shuttle to and from the terminals and the train station was efficient and timely, 8 pounds for a couple each way. The hotel appears brand new, recently and lavishly refurbished. The bed was very comfortable, and the room quiet. The breakfast included in the rate was excellent. This is our new go-to hotel at the Manchester airport.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The check-in process had several redundancies as I had been prompted to check in on my phone. Overall, it was a good experience.
The bar food was lacking. Ordered two separate starter plates and both seemed to have come straight out of a box. Parking is an issue as there is a charge for surface parking but very few places are available.

Was in a great location, very close to airport.
Staff were very friendly and efficient.
Room was somewhat updated and clean.
The king bed was not a king size that I am used to, more like a queen and it was very hard and very uncomfortable. The pillows were not good quality and we had very little sleep.
There was very little water pressure in the shower, maybe because we were on the top floor. I had to spend an extra 10 minutes in the shower to try to rinse my hair and body off.
Also, not much counter space in the bathroom.

The hotel is ideally located for accessing Manchester airport and the room we had was spot on, we were only there the one night and it was exactly what we needed.
No issues with dinning or accessing the bar and they have a private bar area if you wish to pay more.
The car park was pretty full when we arrived and locating a space was not easy, this may be because the hotel also has a holiday parking set up so some vehicles are for people who are away on holiday.
Maybe allocate a space before customers arrive ???? and they also charge you £20 on top of what you pay for the room to park your car overnight !!!!! Sorry but don't agree with that .

Wonderful
I liked the location of the hotel. The staff were very kind and courteous. I felt welcomed upon my arrival. The room was great with a good sized bathroom and nice bathroom toiletries. I will definitely book again and have recommended it to my family members.

It was an easy walk or shuttle ride to the airport. The staff was exceptional.
No air conditioning. The sink and shower drains were difficult to operate.

Wonderful
Modern, clean, stylish, excellent for the airport and early starts. Staff could not have been nicer and a special shout to Keira in the bar restaurant and the chef who really helped me with my choice of meal.
