Good service, nice restaurant and bar. Room was clean and nice.
Lighting in the bathroom was bad. I would have liked two seperate duvets in stead of a big one. The room was missing towels, only towels for one person but we were three. Every toilet should have a toilet brush, even hotel toilets. But all minor problems.

Surprisingly great stay of just one night pre-flight. Staff was extremely helpful. Room was perfectly comfortable.
The only negative observation is that the shower pressure was...less than ideal.

Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport, 3.5/5
Good hotel let down by one avoidable problem: noise. We were ground floor at the corridor end closest to the lobby, and the inconsiderate behaviour of other guests made the room genuinely noisy until gone 11:30pm. Whether that's a room allocation issue or just bad luck, it's worth knowing before you book.
Everything else was solid. The room was spotless, the king size came with a fridge and bottled water, and the staff were friendly throughout. No complaints there.
The lounge upgrade is questionable value unless you enjoy spending time with people who have clearly already started their holiday before leaving the ground.
The walk to the terminal is manageable but not pleasant, and that's being generous. You will drag your cases across a car park and across roads with no dedicated pathway. The Radisson handles this considerably better if terminal access matters to you.
For a short stay at a decent price, this works well. Just ask for a room away from the lobby end, and manage your expectations on the walk.

The hotel was very nice and close to airport train station. It was a very clean and ample room. The bar in lobby was very nice and breakfast is definitely worth the cost. If I travel to Manchester and need to stay close to airport, defintely on my list.
Not much I did not like, but if I have to say something, it is a very big hotel so room was quite a ways away from entrance. The only other point I will make is that hotel was very responsive on Booking.Com when I first booked trip but did not get any responses when I asked questions on day of check-in.
