Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Excellent location (I was flying early from T3 and was able to walk over in 10ish mins). Room was clean and comfortable and the smart TV was good. The hotel felt safe to me as a woman travelling solo. I was only there between 7pm-2am so there is a lot of the hotel that I didn’t see/make use of, but the bar seemed lively and pleasant when I checked in!
My room was near one of the lifts so it was quite noisy with people/suitcases at times - however I wasn’t staying long so this didn’t feel like a massive issue and, based on my positive experience with the staff at check in, I feel if I had raised it as an issue with them they would have been able to assist.

Convenient for the Airport
The advert airport shuttle wasn't available as advised. I paid to upgrade our room and disappointingly only one robe and slippers were provided for two of us. It was late and after a long train journey I didn't complain" just wanted to get to bed.

I stayed years ago when the bar area was different and there was more of a pub area at the end .. much preferred it
