Location was good as was transfer.
I paid more money for executive room as a treat. It was extremely disappointing. The sink in the bathroom had enamel worn away and was stained. I wanted tissues but there was only one pushed into top of box. Shower was terrible with a very tiny shower head. The room was tired and dated!

Beautiful hotel, staff very friendly and courteous. Rooms elegant, clean and very comfortable. Shuttle bus service was excellent and the driver was great, carried cases on and off the bus. Highly recommend.

Courtesy bus wasnt operating when I arrived for transport from manchester airport to hotel.
I rang for the bus when I arrived and was told to wait by the taxi rank. After sometime I went back into the airport to use the phone to call again. Told the same thing go back outside and wait.
Im a senior citizen with arthritic knee and I ended up dragging my luggage with me to walk to the hotel.
I was offered a free drink which I declined.
My experience was awful and spoilt my stay.
I was traveling alone in an unfamiliar setting. Waiting in the cold for a bus that never came. To be then told its 'a courtesy service ' not 'guaranteed service' I feel was unacceptable.
Do not except service between 6-7pm as driver changes shift i was told by reception staff! Why not tell me that when I made the call for pick up

The two double beds were unexpected but wonderful. We had a bed to ourselves really comfortable and a great night's sleep. Great food and service at the bar/ restaurant. Lovely clean and comfortable room.
Would of liked a fridge in the room l have diabetes and would have preferred a fridge to store my insulin in.
