Room was very big, clean and perfect for 3 people. Shower was big, lovely hot water.
Breakfast was continental with a good variety, staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Nothing, prices for a cappuccino were a bit high if I have to say something.

The room, staff and location were very good. It was helpful to have a private car park.
The car park was quite a walk away from the entrance to the hotel, with luggage.

Good hotel. Great leisure center . 10 minute walk to tram line and train station.
Bathroom light and extractor fan wouldn’t turn off so had to listen to that all night . No house keeping .

Room was a little dated, but very clean and tidy. Location was perfect for a work event near the hotel.
Bar open until 4am which was a bonus. Very friendly staff especially Denim upon check-in.
Was a bit expensive but I appreciate I booked late. Bathroom was a bit dated.

All went well. The possibility to visit the pool and saunas (which are included in the price) is a great bonus. Also very grateful for the possibility to check in early - I really needed that sleep after my VERY early flights and before my afternoon activities.
The only small minus was that my room was at the end of corridor and Wifi signal was so weak I could not use it. But as it was not that big of a problem for me (managed with my mobile internet), I did not mention this before check-out. The lady at the reception was then very helpful, telling they could offer another room if this is really important, etc.

Very nice hotel in a great location. There is a free bus to the center and the area has restaurants and coffee shops. Staff was always very friendly. Would come back here.

The location was quiet but still easy to walk to nearby busy areas and shopping, and train and tram stations, and felt completely safe. The gym access included in the hotel cost was wonderful! It's a huge rec center with lots of different ways to exercise, even a pool.
Unfortunately, the hallways and the room itself were very bare and rundown, but the lobby was nice and the staff was friendly. The included breakfast was very limited, ends on the early side (9:30am), and ran out of some of the few options even though I went well before closing.

The location was great and the staff were lovely! We arrived a bit earlier than expected and were able to check-in a couple of hours early. We were right next to a concert venue which was rather loud, but things wrapped up around 1030 so it wasn't an issue. There was a nice terrace and bar so we were able to enjoy the sounds of the concert from the hotel. We were close to train stations, museums, walking distance to good restaurants, etc. The cost was a little bit higher than usual with Oasis in town and multiple other events scheduled, but we'd stay here again!
The amenities were pretty bare bones (no shampoo or conditioner, no mini-fridge, no A/C). The breakfast was a bit bland as well and it would be nice to have some fresh fruit that didn't look so sad.
Security seems a bit lax compared to other European hotels, so we never left any valuables in the room. One guest was telling me that a random woman entered her room around 1 am despite not being with their party!

Wonderful
The Castlefield Hotel has a fast check-in and check-out process which is great when you are tired on arrival or in a hurry leaving. The hotel is clean and quiet with no street noise to disturb your sleep. It has a bar and restaurant with outdoor seating. The location is great, minutes away from the free bus, local and inter-city trains, restaurants and pubs.
