Location only
Room not clean , bathroom dirty and with sealing paint come in off . Shower dripping all night .coffe cups dirty .door with a massive gap where light come in and we can listening all the noises from outside

We couldn't sleep at all. We were in room 304 and there was a constant noise all night. We called to complain about it but the staff couldn't help us because the hotel was full and there weren't any maintenance technician.
In the morning we told them again and they didn't pay attention.

That when I requested a bathtub, staff made sure to message me to le rme know they will to their ebst to accommodate my request and they did.
The room was lovely and had a bathtub.

The sauna, steamroom, swimming pool, and gym are included with the price of the room no extra fees.
The breakfast is a bit small mostly typical English breakfast. Nothing wrong, but could have a little more variety.

Peaceful air. Decent scrambled eggs for breakfast. Good location. Great to know that staying here supports a charity, free access to the gym, spa & sauna is a massive bonus. Beds are comfortable enough. Although a plain / bit basic it is clean and you have what you need.
A bit noisy outside which was expected for central Manchester it just meant sleeping with the window open was a little challenging due to the noise.

nice location for where we needed to be . clean large room and bathroom .
there was traffic noise throughout the night as it was not possible to shut the external window .
there was only one light switch for all the lights in the room . it was located above the bedhead on one side not possible to have a single light on or for one person to reach the switch.
there were no plug sockets near the bed .
reported the issue re window to a member of staff . heard nothing back .

The Castlefield was in a great location. The team were really friendly and approachable. The hotel and facilities were really well maintained and clean. As it was out anniversary the team decorated our room to make it even more special.

Easy access to rail around Manchester, access to the swimming pool next door, didn't sit in the lounge area but was well presentable

The staff were very friendly, the beds were super comfy, and a 11am check out means theres no rush to be out.
The only thing was the people in the room were quite noisey, but I was so tired, I fell asleep anyway.

Large cosy bed, very clean facilities. Friendly staff who were welcoming and we had a a very smooth check in. The location was excellent location,we were able to walk every where, very close to Deansgate and the main hub of activities in Manchester, particularly loved that we were able to discover St John's district which was amazing. Really good value for money.
Would have preferred freshly cooked breakfast rather than a buffet.

The hotel was basic but did the job. It was clean but a little rough around the edges.
No plugs near bed. Water was boiling hot (no cold water!)
