The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The staff were diligent and helpful, especially Denim who made sure I knew where everything was. The gym and swimming pool were easy to access and had everything I needed.
The breakfast, although suited my needs, was limited. The lighting in the room was inadequate once the curtains were closed. I had a lot of natural light but the room was too dark for me to work on projects I brought with me once the sun went down. Fortunately I was staying during the summer so this was a minor inconvenience but I think it would be more of a problem during winter. The hotel says it provides toiletries but there was no hair conditioner. This, again, is minor, but had I know in advance I would have packed my own!

We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were lovely, welcoming and very helpful throughout our visit. The location was perfect for attending our gig at Aviva Studios, making it really convenient. The room was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Breakfast was also very good. An added bonus was being able to get a parking space at the hotel, which made everything even easier. We’d definitely stay again. We also loved the artwork displayed throughout the hotel and it was wonderful to hear that all the profits go to the YMCA.
The only downsides were the lack of toilet paper in our room when we arrived. There was only about a quarter of a roll left and one spare roll provided. The toilet paper itself was also quite small and not the best quality, especially compared to the reception toilets, which were beautifully maintained and much better stocked with higher quality paper. It would also have been nice to have hot chocolate sachets available in the room alongside the tea and coffee options.

Comfy beds, friendly staff, bar that was reasonably priced and stayed open late. Very close to Aviva Studios where we were attending a gig.
No fridge or air con in room (was a hot weekend). Busy road outside was a bit noisy. Shower temperature was a little temperamental.

Location close to gig venue. Parking. Very comfy bed. Good shower. Spacious room. View from room. Smoothies at the bar. Free newspaper. We really like staying here, been several times now, but on this occasion let down by a few things.
Asked for a quiet room but got put in one near the road, and couldn't close the windows as it was a hot night (no Aircon). Didn't get much sleep as a result. It was a bank holiday, breakfast should have been Sunday hours. We only very narrowly got half a breakfast before it was all cleared away at 9.30!

The location & facilities (health club in particular) are superb & the staff are very helpful & friendly, especially Denim on reception!
It was a little noisy at times, not so much because of people - more the inner workings of the building.

I booked this hotel due to its location, close to Aviva Studios, we were greeted by a friendly human, rather than the cold and faceless computer screens used by many hotels. The room as clean, basic, but great for what we had paid. The bar was open late, this meant that when we got back from the gig we could have a drink, again a very friendly member of staff served us.
