Period features, historic building, bars, communal areas looked after. Room very clean, staff very efficient. Room was very quiet even on a Saturday night. Price very reasonable but you do get what you pay for. Location excellent.
Room small but this was a very late booking so room choices limited. But in fairness you do as I said before get what you pay for.

i enjoyed the location as it was very accessible to piccadilly and surrounding areas, the hotel itself self not including the room was a beautiful old century style building
the reference picture of the room did NOT meet standards, the bedroom windows are in disgraceful
filth not allowing any view of the city, there was a stench of dampness and old cigarettes

The staff were amazing and so helpful. The bar and restaurant area were brillaint too
The hotel itself is very tired. Our bathroom had massive cracks in tiles and in the sink. The bath had rust in the plug. The window was broken and held together by tape, the walls had cracks in it. The ceiling plaster was coming down and very much damp. The room needed a good clean it was very dusty

I received an upgrade. The hotel is in the perfect location. right in the city centee with a grocery shop only 80 meters away. The staff are very friendly.I love the historical features like the beautiful stairway..It is amazing value for money.

WiFi is only available in the lobby, fire alarms get triggered randomly throughout the night and the staff is not helpful at all. I understand the low rate justifies the condition of the property in central Manchester however, the bad service and mean demeanour shouldn’t be acceptable at any price.
The negative, dismissive and sometimes agressive attitude of the staff
