I always stop at this hotel on my last night before flying home to France - it is so handy for the airport without being in the main complex.
Good value for money.
I’ve never had the breakfast before and I have to say it’s the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted - it was served in a large flask and was dreadful. Sadly there is a “proper coffee” machine in the bar area but you are charged £3 per cup - this should be made inclusive in the breakfast and then at least you would have decent coffee instead of the dishwater being served

Coming up to it on the road is quite deceiving until you drive round the back to the reception. The rooms were homely and spotlessly clean. It was warm in the room and was able to call down to reception and the receptionist bought to me with no bother. The staff were amazing and the lady who checked me in was so professional and polite and even made small talk with my 6yo daughter
The parking was a bit complicated and the fact that I had to pay for it

Bed was really comfy, loved that there were lights inside the wardrobe, breakfast was good, coffee machine etc great touch.
Carpet a bit shabby in hallways and some peeling wallpaper in the bedroom but it was clean and tidy so didn’t annoy me. There was a party on which was extremely loud but I was that tired i was able to get to sleep okay

The room was really big and kept well for such an old property. We stayed here as a stopover before a long haul flight from Manchester airport. The beds were relatively comfortable and the bathroom was all we'd needed in the bathroom.
It was not technically in Manchester so even though it was very close to the airport, we had to pay £26 for a 9 minute taxi ride to get there and £16 to get back to the airport for the next day.
