The room was really big and kept well for such an old property. We stayed here as a stopover before a long haul flight from Manchester airport. The beds were relatively comfortable and the bathroom was all we'd needed in the bathroom.
It was not technically in Manchester so even though it was very close to the airport, we had to pay £26 for a 9 minute taxi ride to get there and £16 to get back to the airport for the next day.

Comfortable and clean room, good choice at breakfast
I had room 409 which is at the side of a roof top access where sadly youths gathered frequently through the evening shouting loudly outside my bedroom window.

Lived the room. Spacious and comfortable. Quiet as well despite being in the front of the hotel. Breakfast was good quality.
Just had a problem with the plug in the bath but it didnt upset our stay.

Lovely friendly staff and had everything I needed. I also loved the local cat that hangs about in the gardens so friendly.
No gym on site but this wasn’t an issue as I was given access to a local gym

The bed was very comfortable, and the room was a reasonable size. The shower had very good pressure in it. The breakfast was good. The price was reasonable.
One day we were left with no toilet paper, but that was remedied immediately by a visit to reception.

We arrived just after 7 pm on the day of our stay and stayed for 1 night before an early morning flight, and the Best Western Pinewood was great. It catered for everything we needed. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, then took drinks to comfortable room before turning in. The staff were very helpful and even had a continental breakfast ready to go for us at 5 am the following morning because hot breakfast wasn't served till 7am. A definite againer when we have an early morning flight.
It's a bit pricey, but I guess hotels are.
