The bed was very comfortable, and the room was a reasonable size. The shower had very good pressure in it. The breakfast was good. The price was reasonable.
One day we were left with no toilet paper, but that was remedied immediately by a visit to reception.

We arrived just after 7 pm on the day of our stay and stayed for 1 night before an early morning flight, and the Best Western Pinewood was great. It catered for everything we needed. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, then took drinks to comfortable room before turning in. The staff were very helpful and even had a continental breakfast ready to go for us at 5 am the following morning because hot breakfast wasn't served till 7am. A definite againer when we have an early morning flight.
It's a bit pricey, but I guess hotels are.

Good breakfast, excellent location, comfortable bed, nice and quite.
Had issues getting in and out of bath, but will ask for different options on booking. Decor needed updating. Did not like that it is now cashless, unhappy with paying to park. We have stayed several times but the new changes are not an improvement.

Location is excellent for getting about in the car and Handforth shops and restaurants are in easy walking distance
Room 118. Though alright for a single room and 1 night stay, the door was too close to room 120. Such that the person seemed to be leaning against my door to get the card reader/door to open.
Also on going down to breakfast no bacon was available. I had yogurt and berries + my juice before returning to the cooked section- still no bacon. Found the member of staff who went into the kitchen and had to wait while it was cooked. Staff/chef should be monitoring the trays throughout service.

I had booked this hotel well in advance. On the day of arrival/Check-in I had called them around noon and informed that i will arrive around midnight. The hotel reception acknowledged it and told me that the room was ready for check-in. After i arrived at Manchester airport around midnight, the hotel reception staff called me and told me that the hotel was overbooked!! Despite confirming my Check-in, they still overbooked the hotel rooms which is ridiculous. They told me that they had booked me an alternative accommodation at Casa Mere Hotel at Knutsford Cheshire which was far away. Then after arguing with them, they offered me free transportation to the hotel and also breakfast service.
The alternative accommodation was quite far away with no public transportation. Due to this, I had to book taxi and spend around 35 Pounds (GBP) to go to the Manchester city center. Also they asked me to pay for the transport from Airport to the alternative hotel - Casa mere hotel and after arguing with them, they accepted to pay the taxi fare for the transport from airport to the alternative accommodation which was far-away. Also the free breakfast service promised by them was very basic. Very unprofessional service by this hotel.
I cannot understand how hotel can overbook the rooms despite guests confirming their check-in time.

"Thank you for letting us know about your arrival time. Since you mentioned you will arrive around midnight, please rest assured that your late check-in request has already been approved. We look forward to welcoming you to the hotel! "

Room 118. Very dirty, stained and tired carpet. Furniture very old. No tv remote, only 1 very, very thin pillow on bed. Had to use cushions from chair as extra support. Needs total overhaul.
