Great location and breakfast was good
There was a school trip when we stayed and they made a ridiculous amount of noise from 6am and were running and knocking on peoples doors. We called reception at 8am and they said we weren’t the only people to complain. The manager had apparently spoken to them. This is an airport hotel and people should be able to sleep. There was a sign in the room saying that excess noise wouldn’t be tolerated

Clean and tidy. Lovely and helpful staff. Location is excellent for the airport.
Just looking a little tired now. I stayed in the hotel ten years ago and the decor has never changed unfortunately. Needs a bit of investment and tlc.

Very Poor
not much
toilet- biohazard, the shower head bogging, shower controls needing a good steam clean, and a fan thats screams constantly.
noise- possibly the noisiest hotel i have ever stayed in, i work offshore and would have rather been there! in a family room, but defo not in the family area, can hear every conversation going, rooms all around us up to all hours, then up early slamming doors.
room- 4 in a bed would have a field day, bits of missing carpet, felt my skin crawling after a night in that bed, floor had more creaks than a rusty gate!

Very obligingly altered the day of our booking, due to a flight change, the day before we should have stayed. The Receptionist helped our Son to do this as we were in Portugal. Excellent service.

The Restaurant had improved considerably over the previous year, well done. The restaurant staff were alert and cheerful. In fact the whole hotel seemed to have a renewed atmosphere.
A more comfortable and distinct lounge area
Pur room had only one chair at the desk and no room for another chair. Only a very small point but could be significant on a fourth star rated property.

Comfortable and handy for the airport. Outside garden area to the bar was pleasant and the restaurant was also very good along with the service.
Nothing obvious. Car park arrangements were a bit confusing, but we managed with help from others.

Pleasant
Great location a short walk/taxi ride from the train station also parking on site at a small cost. The staff were very friendly and helpful and when we were unable to check in right away due to some technical issues the staff were very apologetic and offered drinks from the bar whilst we waited. Also room service was very quick and food was nice.
The rooms were a bit dated and also when going to bed to sleep, we noticed 2 of the beds had multiple small hairs in them (on the bedsheet) did not raise this at the time as had gotten back late at night (too late to have them changed) we just wiped them off. also one of the bed covers had a hole in. Also one of the main lights in our room did not work.

Poor
Location was very good
It was very loud. We were in a family room, needing to get up very early for a flight. and a loud group were next door up banging around, swearing and slamming doors until 2am!! The room was fairly unclean as well.
