We arrived just after 7 pm on the day of our stay and stayed for 1 night before an early morning flight, and the Best Western Pinewood was great. It catered for everything we needed. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, then took drinks to comfortable room before turning in. The staff were very helpful and even had a continental breakfast ready to go for us at 5 am the following morning because hot breakfast wasn't served till 7am. A definite againer when we have an early morning flight.
It's a bit pricey, but I guess hotels are.

I had booked this hotel well in advance. On the day of arrival/Check-in I had called them around noon and informed that i will arrive around midnight. The hotel reception acknowledged it and told me that the room was ready for check-in. After i arrived at Manchester airport around midnight, the hotel reception staff called me and told me that the hotel was overbooked!! Despite confirming my Check-in, they still overbooked the hotel rooms which is ridiculous. They told me that they had booked me an alternative accommodation at Casa Mere Hotel at Knutsford Cheshire which was far away. Then after arguing with them, they offered me free transportation to the hotel and also breakfast service.
The alternative accommodation was quite far away with no public transportation. Due to this, I had to book taxi and spend around 35 Pounds (GBP) to go to the Manchester city center. Also they asked me to pay for the transport from Airport to the alternative hotel - Casa mere hotel and after arguing with them, they accepted to pay the taxi fare for the transport from airport to the alternative accommodation which was far-away. Also the free breakfast service promised by them was very basic. Very unprofessional service by this hotel.
I cannot understand how hotel can overbook the rooms despite guests confirming their check-in time.
I had got the below message from the hotel:
"Thank you for letting us know about your arrival time. Since you mentioned you will arrive around midnight, please rest assured that your late check-in request has already been approved. We look forward to welcoming you to the hotel! "

The Reception and Restaurant staff were welcoming and very friendly. Food was excellent. Room was clean and cosy, bar area was nice, parking was safe and secure.
The signage on the outside of the hotel was rather obscured and easy to miss on a dark and rainy night. Should have used Google Maps!

Very warm welcome from Veronica after a long drive, and a free room upgrade, was a good way to start. Room was clean, modern, warm and cosy. Breakfast was fine, usual hotel options, and as usual cooked food going quite hard under heat lamps. But it was very good value and I would happily stay again for an airport connection.
Cooked breakfast was a bit dried up.

We had a superior room, which was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant had good food. We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and we had a very early flight out.
There were no other restaurants or sights in walking distance from the hotel.

The hotel is in an ideal location for Jet Parks 3 and Manchester airport. The rooms are large, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast has a variety of food to offer from cereal, continental or full English. The breakfast staff were attentive and we was welcomed with a smile
There isnt much around the hotel but that cant be a negative to the hotel. When cleaning staff have their trolleys in the corridors it is a little tight to navigate with suitcases.
When we first stayed here the car park wasnt chargeable but they have an offer on at the moment to charge £2.30 otherwise it would be £9.00
The room didnt have many power outlets so it was difficult to ensure our devices were fully charged for security at the airport
Also there was an advert on facebook offering 20% off room rates, car parking and also free breakfast. As a returning guest and having booked in February '25 I enquired if the option of free breakfast could be added to our stay. After an uncomfortable telephone call with a staff member who told me to cancel my booking, lose the money and re-book, something I wasnt prepared to do so close to the trip but Dilpreet Singh the hotel manager emailed out of the blue to offer us free breakfast which was gratefully received and the breakfast was very tasty and just what we needed with us having an early flight. I have noticed the adverts have changed now & state the offer is for direct bookings only.

My initial room (Room 218) smelt of damp, had non-functioning dehumidifier/vent. The wifi signal in this room was non-existent. Following a complaint, my room was changed.
