Room next door played loud music in the middle of the night. Had to go find a staff member as no one replied to Whatsapp (as advertised in room)

I liked the location, central and close to good restaurants, not far from the venue we were visiting.
The staff were lovely and friendly, the breakfast was good. The room was a good size.
There was an event on in the evening which meant it was a bit tricky for residents as we could not access the bar- table service was provided, but I just wanted to take drinks to out room- the drinks were very expensive too(£12 for a regular glass of wine!) ! Staff sorted my drinks to take upstairs, and were very accomodating, but I think for a hotel, events should have their own space and not fence off the reception bar.
Also, small thing, but not space to place a suitcase other than the bed

Fabulous location right in the city centre close to restaurants art gallery trams and station.

Good location. Young staff were friendly - just needed bit more training. The evening meal in the bar was tasty.
The air con in my first room was not working and noisy. Also - was an accessible room (not requested) and the wet room has seen better days - e.g the main drain was filthy. Moved to another room on second night at my request. No attempt to offer me any gift/comp breakfast for inconvenience of packing up and lack of sleep from previous evening. I had to move suitcase myself! I do understand that things sometimes don’t work but it’s how you handle the complaint that makes the lasting impression.
