The location was ideal for the purpose of our visit.
The staff were attentive when we raised concerns about the issues at hand and offered a 50% discount. (Yet to receive this)
There were many faults with the room. The main lights were not working. The air conditioner in the room was also faulty. The toilet flush was also not great with the water almost over flowing.

Great location, lovely helpful staff, and gorgeous hotel with character.
Following a fire alarm going off one night, the elevators weren’t working so had to check out with 2 suitcases from 5th floor!!! No back up in place and though my 2 colleagues evacuated, I didn’t (the alarm was turned off) but no client head count was done to check who was in rooms etc

Didnt use the restaurant but the bar area was lovely
Had a really uncomfortable sleep, bed was bad and the pillows were even worse. Also hardly any lights in the room so struggled getting ready. And the lifts were broken

Ticked all the boxes for a single night in Manchester
I was a bit surprised to walk into the bathroom and see that the basin was barely above knee height. Then looking around I noticed that I was in a disabled room. No particular problem but might have been good to have been warned on checkin

The aesthetic was cool and the layout/ furniture was nice.
The drains in the bathroom smelled quite bad, we couldn’t leave the bathroom door open or it would creep into the bedroom.
