Pleasant
The staff were really friendly and helpful - easy check-in and check-out. We also stored luggage which we were very grateful to be able to do. It's in a great location.
The bed was not very comfortable. The mattress wasn't very firm - it felt springy, a bit lumpy and tired.
Also we had a blanket on the bottom of the bed which was stained and marked. The bedding and sheets themselves were white (lovely and clean), so it didn't feel dirty but no blanket would have been better than a well used one.

Wonderful
Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was very nice.
Bedroom was large and bed massive.
Very clean hotel.
Shower was hard to keep the water inside it.
Always hot water though.
Maybe breadcakes at breakfast to make sandwiches?
Clearer signage on main road. We walked past it on first outing!

Good
Good central location close to china town and Manchester Art gallery. Lovely reception area. Breakfast was good quality (though not quite as much choice as in many hotels). Room was nice enough.
Just some small things, like a small crack in the sink in our bathroom (still functional), but it just wasn’t as nice as the last time we stayed (though I realise we had been upgraded on our last stay)

Fair
Friendly and informative welcome from Jeff
Spacious room
Comfortable bed
Single mirror in room, no sockets close, hopeless when trying to dry or straighten hair
TV did switch on, programmes came up but wouldn't play. Room service came up to check it out, no proper connector on TV aerial and so it had fallen out
When ring room service takes you to choices eg 1 to book a room etc, frustrating, although did say can what's app message
Overhead shower, no shower cap provided, other shower head have to hold it to get spray in right direction
Minor thing, for some people sure ok, insufficient space on built in bedside section, glass of water, phone, glasses, kindle no space for all unless "pile on top"
Seemed like poor customer service that on booking out the person asked us to wait whilst they appeared to be sending a message on their phone but, on reflection, perhaps they were responding to a WhatsApp message from another guest.

Good
Good location, good size room and fairly modern and clean hotel. Staff were friendly and professional.
Some of the room furnishings need replacing or fixing, there's a noisy fan unit in the room that's worse in the morning even when turned off somehow. Plus £20 per hour for a late check out seems steep for this hotel.

Pleasant
Staff were great, very friendly.
Breakfast was Excellent
TV worked fine, unlike most hotels
Shower grid was in middle of bathroom so whole bathroom floor was wet 90% of the time.
Fire Alarm went off while napping.
Air Con wasnt great
Could really have done being told about the 25% discount for QPark. it cost be 80 quid for thw 2 days. I'd may as well have booked the car a hotel room.

Location good and tasty breakfast.
Cold entrance/dining area, very poor signage outside. Room had two weak bedside lamps and no other lighting. Could not see contents of my suitcase unless directly under the lamp.

Really well located and good size rooms
Reception area with baggage was very busy. There was a facility to leave your bags at the hotel after check out which is a great service but the hotel didn’t have enough space to hold the bags there were suitcases and bags spread allover the reception area

Good
Geoff and maria were so helpful and kind. I fi feel though that it's not fair that they have to stand up all the time whilst on reception. They should be given high Stools/ chairs really. We had a problem with the very sqeaky bathroom door but when we told the staff with it was dealt with straight away.
The location of the kettle in the room I isn't safe you have to plug it in in the floor next to the bed. Also a more classier kettle as the plastic one doesn't match the rooms etiquette. A coffee machine would be a nice touch.
