We booked the premium room, it was lovely. Good facilities and clean.

We have stayed in this hotel several times as we love the location and the hotel bar is open until 2am.
The bed was very uncomfortable. It made a noise everytime you moved, there was a dip in the middle of the mattress. It was a very uncomfortable nights sleep.
There was also something wrong with the boiler as there was no hot water in the morning.
I think we were also put in a disabled room. Which meant the sink was just above knee level, which isn’t ideal when you are trying to wash your face and brush your teeth.

The bed wasn’t the comfiest - the mattress topper turned out to be a duvet…
So bed was a bit lumpy …

The interior, size of room, bathroom/shower, the bar area - everything was so much better than I assumed it would be for the price I paid. Staff were welcoming and extremely helpful and all of them were very welcoming and cheerful and would go above and beyond to help! Will definitely recommend!
Only downside was having a room that overlooked a loading bay for the building next door, so a bit of noise in the morning, not an issue in the night. Room was very warm as well and didn't seem to cool down when I changed the settings on the thermostat. Otherwise, perfect!

Really liked the bar/ lounge area. It was handy they served food in the evening, which I enjoyed. Breakfast had a good variety and you can order off the menu.
My room was a good side and a decent bathroom.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall an enjoyable stay and would definitely use the Alan again if I am back on business.
The bed's mattress felt a bit old and not as comfortable as it would have liked.

Great location. Breakfast £10 if booked in advance and was good.
We put the sign on our room to be cleaned. 8 hours later it hadn’t been cleaned. I asked why and they said it was because I hadn’t also scanned a QR code to say I wanted it clean (I was never told/given a QR code). They then said that they would bring new towels up for us, but they never did.
