Pleasant
Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, bed comfortable and we appreciated the English breakfast. Location was perfect for visiting the Manchester Art Gallery, John Rylands Library and churches.
Hotel is situated on second floor over a pub that was quite noisy due to Trivia night that is held twice a week--glad we were not there on a weekend when a DJ is booked. Lighting in room was strange--hard to get bathroom light to stay off and there was no reading light beside the bed.

We only paid £53 per night for this stay so we weren't expecting too much but how wrong were we ? The rooms are absolutely stunning. Super clean and spacious with a modern theme. Ironing facilities and coffee machine in the room. Great shower with rainfall head. Couldn't believe the extensive breakfast menu and all in the heart of the city. Great stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nothing to dislike

The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The room was very comfortable. Very clean. The location was perfect for the city centre and not too far for the Co-op live. The breakfast was great quality and the burger I had on the first night was excellent. I would 100% stay at this hotel again.
Only a couple of minor issues in the room but nothing that made the stay in any way bad.

Very Good
Great location, not far to walk into the centre. Clean and tidy, we read it was newly refurbished. Bathroom is modern and the shower was lovely. Radiators actually worked, our room had a good amount of space. Bed and pillows are clean and comfy too. Good breakfast options. Staff are so lovely and attentive.
Sometimes the bathroom light wouldn’t come on properly or it would turn on when no one was using it. Would have liked a few more options on the pub menu but the food options are good. Other than that no complaints.

Good
The lobby/front desk is also a public bar, which I thought was a cool, unique touch. Centrally located near lots of shops and restaurants, room was spacious and comfortable.
There is no elevator, and I found one of the staff a bit rude.

Poor
The staff member was friendly and helpful
I didn't realize how loud the room would be (the Manchester suite). Fine if going for a night out to be fair but I should of researched better as I was staying for work.
I had a poor night sleep, the room smelt, was not very clean and was not quiet. I ended up booking another hotel in a busier area but was much quieter and cleaner. I lost out on the cost of the hotel.

Disappointing
Staff were friendly, room was appropriately sized, clean, had the relevant amenities.
Being placed in a room right next to where the road is being worked on (tarmac) until 3am. I get this is kind of outside of the hotels control BUT don't put people in a room right next to construction.
Breakfast was kinda meh. Not hot, mostly flavourless. Not worth it. Had tried the small plates and they were mostly the same.

Pleasant
Room nice and clean, staff friendly and food in the pub was nice.
Stayed in the quality street room, it’s small and you can’t walk around the bed, the shower was broke, stuck on the maximum heat. The bathroom door doesn’t work, the mirror was loose, the toilet seat was loose. Couldn’t shut the front door without slamming it. The chair for the dressing table was missing and the fan caging was broken.

Wonderful
Loved the hotel and that our room was a remodel
Really just not having an elevator. Someone did carry out luggage up but we left early in the morning so they weren't available to bring them down.

Great place, very cosy, excelent breakfast. The room was perfect and we rested very well. I'll come back to that place because they have also good deals for lunch-dinner.
