Wonderful
Great first impressions with lovely greeting from lady on reception and and an upgrade to one of the huge top floor rooms. Fantastic location by Picadilly station and cooked to order breakfast a big plus!

Helpful friendly staff. Maintenance man helped straight away. Fantastic breakfast.
Air con wasn’t working during the heatwave but the staff sorted out a great Dyson fan for our room. Apart from that, a great stay.

Uncomfortably hot and couldn’t sleep because of the temperature in the room. Was advertised as being air conditioned however it was not.

Very spacious rooms and decor throughout was tasteful suiting the vibe of the hotel. We didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on that but the rooms were excellent. The additional nighttime security on the door was brilliant.
The only thing which lacked was no bottled water in the room to drink which is that big of a deal but really the only thing I picked up on.

Amazing design throughout the hotel and room. Comfy, spacious, with all details and amenities well thought out. Lots of wood (always preferred over carpet!) Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. :)
Confusing that the cheap bottle of water in the room had to be paid for (not in a minibar).

Nice in parts but looking quite worn and tired in places
Peeling lino and paint in the bathroom, a temporary air con that needed constantly topping up with water as the wall one wasn't working. A few light bulbs out. A lot of the dinner menu off but the poor waiting staff weren't kept up to date. All the staff were very nice btw

Location was amazing, clean and very friendly staff on reception.
Dont bother trying to get a drink at the bar, not sure what was going on but the 2 staff on friday night were the slowest we have ever come across, good job the reception staff made up for it.

The old tiles were beautiful
No air conditioning room was very stuffy and couldn't open window. There was a stand alone conditioning unit that sort of worked

Beautiful building
Unfortunately the aircon didn't work in out room, a fan was already in the room to use but would have been better for the aircon to have worked.

Disappointing
The daytime receptionist was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
It states air conditioned rooms, they were not, clearly haven’t been commissioned for sometime.
The evening(late) receptionists , 2 burly blocks in white shirts , were abrupt , 1 word answers, unhelpful and simply rude.

Poor
The room was tiny and no air con. Noisy till late will people outside. Key card wasn’t activated properly meaning a trip back to reception. Silverfish in bathroom which is not acceptable.The check out experience was much better - friendly chap. I have stayed here lots of times and enjoyed it but this occasion was like staying somewhere new that you would be unlikely to return to.
