Lovely hotel, gorgeous features! Bed was huge and super comfy! Little bit of noise in the day but nothing over night so not issues! Shower was excellent!

A stylish building in a perfect city centre location. The staff are friendly & efficient, rooms are large & well equipped and breakfast excellent.
The rooms aren’t sound proofed & there was some noise from outside, but perhaps that’s to be expected from a hotel in the city centre.

Disappointing
The room has a Smart tv and a Dyson fan in the room which was good to use. The bedding/ towels were clean, there is free shampoo/conditioner/body wash available and I liked the touches of the vintage rotary phone and radio. The staff are lovely, friendly and happy to help.
Unfortunately the room was very tired, the shower basin was taped with mould underneath, the ‘art work’ was peeling off from the frame, the light had missing or broken bulbs, the furniture was damaged/worn and the wall paper was also peeling and damaged in parts. There was water available in the room but this was not complementary and £2.50 for a 500ml bottle (points for it being eco-friendly though) and the air conditioning doesn’t work either. I would recommend requesting a room at the rear of the property or on a high floor as it is very loud outside (to be expected a bit as it is the city centre) and bring a long phone changer cable as there is only plug sockets at one side of the bed (which is very low but we didn’t mind this, however it may be an inconvenience for individuals who are elderly or have mobility issues).
To be completely honest I would recommend Motel One instead which is just down the road because it is more value for money, lower priced, better facilities and has modern rooms with more effective soundproofing so you can’t hear what’s going on outside.

We have a great stay in the ABode Manchester Hotel, the building is beautiful and very well located close to the station . We had to change of room for the second night (due to minor plumbing issue but the staff sorted it out within minutes so all good), both rooms were big, nice, clean and very comfy! The breakfast at the hotel's restaurant is great, big portions and delicious. Our waiter was super lovely and very efficient! Wifi works very well. We will come back for sure!
