The bed and bedding was so comfortable! Duck feather pillows, heavy quilt and soft cotton sheets.
Need i say more.
The bathroom could of done with a bit more detail.
The gentleman that used it befor my stay had shaved his beard and his hairs was left on the shelf above the sink and his products left in the bin.

I locked myself out of the room sleepwalking with no underpants on. Staff came to my rescue in a difficult situation with no judging.

convenient to all main areas of city centre.
Large comfy bed.
Clean towels & plenty of toiletries.
Good storage for clothes.
Hairdryer & ironing board.
No Nespresso machine as advertised so disappointed with a very cheap kettle & even cheaper coffee sachets. I believe this should have brought to our attention so we could have planned ahead, yes it’s only a coffee although most of us would expect premium when paying for a premium stay. A voucher for a coffee at the restaurant downstairs would have been a nice GWG or shaving a few £ of the bill to compensate would have been appreciated.

The room was spacious and clean, with tea, coffee and water provided. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast was very nice.
Breakfast was slow - over 40 minutes for the meal to arrive at my table on the first day, 30 mins on the second day. The property is cavernous and there is usually only one member of staff available at any time, which means there is a feeling of it being quite unsafe.

Very nice hotel. Bathroom very high standard and bed super comfy. Everywhere was very clean and appeared well maintained. The breakfast was a la carte and of very good quality and quantity. Much nicer than many hotels serving a buffet style breakfast. The brasserie area was again very well presented and maintained.
The hotel website allows you to book a table for an evening meal and states there is a restaurant. I did book a table for an evening dinner but on check in we were told they do not serve evening meals. Why allow a booking? Also when we returned early afternoon to sit in the 'brasserie' for coffee and pastries we were told that there was no food service after breakfast and the kitchen was closed. This was very disappointing and feel its not a brasserie as it only serves hot and cold drinks. Very strange for a 4star hotel so its essentially just a bed & breakfast establishment.
