The staff were lovely and the hotel was in an ideal location for our stay
The heating in the bedroom was hard to turn down and the handle on the shower took 2 of us to move it, had we been staying longer than a night would have mentioned it to housekeeping

The staff are lovey the breakfast ballroom is beautiful . I liked the bath. Love the bar area.
I was very disappointed with the room for the price . More basic than high end . I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the years and it has just got more expensive . With no pool any more. my room was disappointing no biscuits. I dont think i shall pay that again or stay with you sadly.

As we got there we paid for our stay then they offered us a discount then upgraded our rooms then included breakfast, then in the middle of the night they had realised what we had been offered and they went ahead and took money out of my bank account without permission and full on argued with me that it was there right! 1 week later they have put a hold on my card resulting in my account been frozen and my bank says there is nothing they can do intill the Waldorf decides they want to release the hold, staff do not want to help!!

Our stay at the Waldorf Hilton London was very enjoyable. The staff was helpful and accomodating. The rooms and the bathroom were spotless and soundproof. There is air conditioning and heating which on any given weekend in London you might need both! The room itself had a designated makeup desk and mirror.
The public spaces are beautifully decorated and practical for use. Good Godfreys pub was a nice spot for meeting with friends for a drink. I recommend the Margarita and also a very solid Cappucino.
The doormen help with the bags and can always find you a cab!
It would be nice if the all day room service had more options in the evening. When returning after a show the options were a Ceasar Salad or Pizza. Even a selection of Sandwiches and crisps would have been appreciated.

Disappointing
The gentleman at reception was very friendly, as was the doorman. The executive lounge was very nice and the staff there were great too.
Pretty much everything...... The hotel is clearly living of it's historic name, everything about the hotel looked tired, dated and in need of some TLC, were were upgraded to a room that would have been my basic expectation of a room. It was meant to be a suite, but was in fact a small bedroom and bathroom with an annex. I have never been to a suite in my life that didnt even have a stocked mini bar, it had no wine glasses or even a bottle opener. The worst part however was the fact that our luggage never arrived in our room, after 20 mins I called reception, they asked me for a luggage number that we never received and then proceeded to ask what colour and size the luggage was. Clearly it had gone missing. it took over 45 minutes, which clealry interupted our short break significantly. I had to call 3 times to finally get it resolved. So as well as the tired, dated and condensed feel to the hotel, some of the very basics are poor. Also, we were told the access to the executive suite would be £40 per night, however £114 was taken from my account even though we only stayed for 1 night. When I called them they said this would be repaid, 2 weeks later it still hasnt !!!!
