The staff was simply superb, helpful, courteous, and great at their jobs; hard to imagine ever having a better experience. The location of the hotel was fantastic for exploring, for dining, for just walking around and soaking up London. The breakfast was superb with plenty of buffet and a la carte options. The gym was large and well equipped.
I'm very particular about pillows so bear that in mind, but I would have liked a firmer and more supportive pillow. The hotel is an older building so you have to expect a few rough age spots, but I consider that character not flaws.

Hotel really well situated on the outskirts of theatre land with no need to use public transport for the West End and Central London. A hotel I'd always wanted to stay at and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful ball room and great service from the staff.
We only stayed for one night so it would be unfair to find fault. Not likely to get a sea view in central London!

The hotel is beautiful
The breakfast was very poor. Very limited full English available, got some of my breakfast then had to wait 20 mins for the rest of it. Was very busy, had a table practically in the hall way. I was very disappointed.

The location is really perfect. Every member of staff I encountered was friendly, polite, helpful and professional. I really liked my room and the bed was super comfy and the breakfast was excellent!
It was expensive for a one night stay in my opinion.

Good breakfast. Comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent staff. The anniversary pillow was a nice touch.
Reception area a little underwhelming. Decor a bit shabby and carpets not good. Been in far better hotels in London for less money. Was a bit disappointed in the hotel overall. The bedroom was very ordinary and basic.
