Been here so many times. Absolutely unique place; great chef! Comfortable lounge with piano and as a pianist I was particularly pleased. So sad that it is up for sale. But difficult to run even a non profit under the current circumstances. The building infrastructure needs a major upgrade. Hopefully it will continue as shared accommodation, with the new buyer. It was a Déjà vu for me as a former owner of The Hyde park west Hotel (85 bedrooms) in Pembridge Square; now one massive house!
My bed was terribly lumpy and I was jet lagged.

For the price, this hotel is an incredible value and its location truly couldn’t be better. The garden is a hidden gem, beautifully maintained and wonderfully peaceful. The room was clean and very comfortable, making it easy to relax. Both breakfast and dinner were consistently delicious, and the complimentary coffee available all day was a fantastic bonus. I sincerely hope this hotel never closes! I’m so glad I discovered it.
It would be even better if there were more breakfast options available, along with a wider selection of juices offered at dinner.

The Building was very well kept externally, internally was warm and homely, with an old school and deco vibe. No frills, but it's not about that.
I was so excited to have been met by the beautiful GiGi - the resident cat on my arrival (who secretly influenced my stay).
The receptionist was polite and friendly.
My room was light and bright, it was homely and very clean, as was the bathroom.
Shower worked well, and nice hot water at all times.
My room was so quiet, no noise from other residents.
I felt safe as a lone female guest
There was a lovely bonus of a well kept garden, a patio area, grass, a pond with fish!
If you are not looking for 'fancy', and prefer homely, this place is a complete gem.
I will definitely return.
Only one thing.
I needed a fridge in my room, most hotels do not have a fridge option......so this was a big plus. However it was not very cold at all

Such a wonderful place to stay - a haven in the midst of London. Lovely room, great breakfasts, wonderful staff and a fabulous friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back!!

Good breakfast buffet. Clean quiet room. Requested extra blankets in advance, which were provided. Everything as it should be: clean room and bathroom, toiletries provided, good shower and comfortable bed. Good value for money for the location. The hotel inspector would be proud.

Great location, close to tube. Good area, lots of grocery stores and places to eat.
It’s kind of dated, could be cleaner. Carpet was a bit dirty in my room, elevators could be cleaned more.
