Great location just a few minutes walk from Notting Hill Gate Tube. Friendly and welcoming staff, and hotel cat! Upgraded from single to double room with lovely view across London rooftops. Simple but comfortable furnishings. Classical 1920/30’s (?) architecture and beautiful original staircase. Lounge and complimentary coffee/tea area downstairs as well as kettle tray in room. Could happily have stayed longer if schedule had permitted.

Great staff - everyone was friendly and helpful. The location is hard to beat for the price. The place is a 5 minute walk from the Notting Hill Gate tube station which gets you pretty much everywhere, and there are 2 grocery stores right nearby. I was out and about late and early, and felt really safe. I really appreciated the closeness to Hyde Park, too - about a 10 minute walk takes you to the gates of the Palace entrance, and an easy, pleasant walk through the park to the V&A. The common use lounge area was very nice, with comfy and quiet seating. The room (really, the entire place) was spotless clean, and the bed was comfy. Props to the cleaners who were working hard every time I saw them! The superior single room has a mini fridge which was appreciated. Great water pressure in the shower.
It's a minor thing, and probably related to the age of the building, but the wifi was a bit patchy in my room. It often dropped off, or was slow, but by no means was it a deal breaker. Wifi boosters of some kind might be an upgrade to consider down the road for the property.

Super convenient location about 5 mins from Notting Hill Gate tube. 10 mins walk to Portobello Rd and 20 mins to Westfield shopping centre. Walk through Hyde Park to Royal Albert Hall about 35 mins. Our room was a corner room on the 6th floor - really spacious and well equipped as well as tastefully decorated. Best room we've stayed in for a very long time.
Not sure about anything really, suited us very well. The place is a little quirky but all the better for it.

I was staying at the hotel for the second time and would stay a third one. For me it is the ideal choice: a wonderful location just 1 minute from Notting Hill Gate station, a spacious room, clean and warm. Excellent breakfasts, tea and coffee available 24/7, friendly staff. I like this area, with many cafes and supermarkets nearby. I also like that everything in the hotel is very simple, yet impeccably clean and of high quality. I will return to this place without hesitation.

Lovely reception staff on arrival. I booked very late so only a single room left but it was lovely and warm and suited me for my stay. Breakfast was lovely.

I had a wonderful stay at this residence and I highly recommend it. The staff were very friendly, and everything was exceptionally clean and cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. I also really liked the lobby area.
Another big plus was that I could leave my luggage after check-out, which was very convenient. There was also a room with coffee, tea, and water available all day.
Overall, a fantastic experience—would definitely come back!
