Very Good
The staff very polite and friendly
Bed and room comfortable
We had to leave bags in reception by window as there was too much baggage in the store. When we returned alot of bags were gone from the window, one of our bags was on the floor and the other was now on a table in public space..bit risky.
The base of the shower wall leaks water out onto bathroom floor. Think seal has gone.

Disappointing
The elevator was out of order, and the lock on the door in my room was not working properly. I got a disable room. Not to sure why, it is bigger but everything is so low it is not comfortable. Would have been better if the reception informed me of this and i can decline.

Disappointing
Location was perfect.
Room was a decent size for a big city hotel.
Maintenance was terrible. The elevators did not work, and we had to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs in a dark stairwell. When one did work, the room attendants kept it stationary on one floor, so guests were forced to use the stairs. This happened between 3-7 pm when we were returning from the day out and had to get ready for the evening. Why they waited until those hours to clean no one would tell us. We requested that they clean when we left the room, which was every day between 10-4 and that happened only once. Every other time it was either ignored or forgotten. In 4 days our room was attended to only once, and we just requested towels for the others.
The room was small but fine--expect that in a big city hotel, but there was no place to hang anything but a very small rack and no place to tuck luggage away so that made the room feel smaller.
The bathroom was similar--not much space with the pedestal sink but the shower and products were good.
Don't bother with the expensive breakfast, which is not there but at a sister hotel nearby--you can go to Pret in either direction a block or 2 away for much less. There are many restaurants near there--just a half a block to the right is Chinatown, a block to the left is Little Italy, and a pub serving traditional British food 2 blocks away. If you're seeing theater the location can't be beat, and we were able to walk to many of the other sites, as well as access the underground, but if there is anything else in this price range in this location, I would not book this hotel.

Good
We had a spaceful room on the highest floor..
They clean the room with a spray, after we asked them not to do it, they react positive. We were not able to open the windows, they are locked.

Good
Great location. We could walk to all venues of interest, including theaters, restaurants etc. wonderful staff. Clean rooms, though tiny in size.
One of the two available elevators was out of order and had been like that for quite a while. Being handicapped there were long waiting times in this hotel built over 10 levels. This was very annoying and hotel owners did not seem to see this as an emergency.

I have been scammed and misled.
I was forced to go to another hotel owned by them.
This is complete fraud and deception.

Location was great. Cleaning staff was very friendly and hardworking. Front desk staff was okay; neither good or bad.
The hot water is not hot enough; more like just warm. Only one elevator was working.

Poor
The location was good
The bathroom had a damp smell, it wasn’t clean and the sink had a huge crack filled instead of replaced with a leak on the floor. Bathroom door was see through glass and whilst I have been married over 25 years I still believe your time in the bathroom is personal and should have a fully blocked door.
Didn’t have a shower in 2 days because of the disgusting bathroom

Disappointing
The location was great. One staff member was very helpful getting us a fan as air con broken.
The carpets were dirty; the hallways were dark; the air con didn’t work in the first room we stayed in for two nights and then we were able to move - but the next room had a sewer smell in the bathroom, perhaps faulty or old piping nevertheless very unpleasant. There were two elevators, but one was broken and the other was very slow, so we took the stairs mostly.

Fair
The location was great for getting around. Close to everything.
2 lifts with only 1 working. The 1 working didn't always stop at the floor. the pillows were terrible. the fan in the bathroom was really loud. Some of the staff could have been more helpful.

Fair
Location is really central, the rooms are overall quite clean and have been renewed nicely. The staff listened to some of my complaints and were attentive/professional.
A negative impact for me is all the reception and breakfast area. I don't understand how a reception sits literally inside a kitchen with 2 laptops. Not only is the hotel classified as 4*, but I also don't know how this is possible from a health/cleanliness perspective. All the breakfast selections and dining area are very far from a 4* offer. On a separate note, phones to call the reception were not working as well.
