Location, style, comfort, luxury were all there in spades, however the service from every person was second to none and a wonder to behold and receive. Nothing was too much trouble, all the little things remembered and catered for. Outstanding stay.

Staff were lovely and polite. Clean. Our bucket list weekend. Pool/gym were lovely.
Although free upgrade room, nothing really special about the room. Quite a dowdy decor, bed very hard. Quite disappointing really expected more for my money. To be honest we’ve stayed in posher & a lot cheaper hotels abroad. Communication bad, wrong things added to final bill, emailed them, no answer, called them said they would return my call;they didn’t, had to call again for a resolution. Even 2 months before our booking, we had an email in February saying looking for to seeing you tomorrow. Ummmm an urgent email saying, what? We haven’t got a booking tomorrow, it’s for May!! Oh yes they said! Yes their booking system is rubbish, tried booking a table at the Grill restaurant, automated, said they’d call me back, never did, had to rebook via their website booking. It’s really not good for prestigious hotel like The Savoy, a shame!

Everything. It is my “go to” hotel in London and it is perfect in every way. The staff is exceptional, and their service is top-notch. There’s not anything they won’t do for you. Shout outs to Tony, Rob, Michael - the best doormen anywhere in the world. Also to Caesar. The accommodations are also wonderful. I was upgraded to an art deco jr. suite and thoroughly enjoyed it! I felt ensconced in luxury. I dined at the Savoy Grill and every dish was superb.

A last minute choice to stay whilst going to the theatre
Room on small side but you know this when booking
American bar was very nice and staff friendly
At breakfast you felt staff put you close to where they are serving from rather than show you to a great seat when the restaurant isn’t busy, also the table was a little small for water juice coffee pastries and your breakfast ( with hindsight should have asked for a better table )

Everything !! The afternoon tea was a real treat. Glass of champagne on arrival to celebrate our special occasion was very much appreciated.

Stayed once before long-ago, before the famous refurbishment. The hotel generally cannot be faulted, and the quality of the hotel staff (bid shout out to Ben on the front desk) and refurbishment is excellent, but... something is lost forever. The old gigantic baths and 'fire-hose' water pressure taps/showers are gone - what replaces them are, in modern terms, very good, but the excellence of years gone bye is sadly lost. Luckily, the American Bar is still as excellent as ever - one of the best bars in the World, and the Arnold Bennett omelette with caviar remains to-die-for...
The Savoy Grill has somehow morphed into nothing better than, say, Shula's Steak House in the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel at EPCOT Resort Area in Florida, USA. Might be something to do with the complete lack of enforcement of the already-relaxed dress code (no Jackets required now) combined with clientele of the hotel itself. Some people were wearing t-shirts and cargo shorts and trainers/'sneekers' all together as an outfit, at what is meant to be one of the finest restaurants in London. It should be an 'event' dining at The Savoy Grill, and sadly that is all lost now... And so over-priced (for the same target aforementioned clientele). And the food quality - probably my worst Gordon Ramsey experience by far.
One other thing - since when was it normal for a pre-authorised credit/debt card to be automatically increased every time I signed for a drink or ate a meal. Quite surprised to wake up the following morning for my card to have been pre-authorised to a much, much higher amount than I had pre-authorised by chip-and-pin. Bloody Cheek!
To summarise - won't be going back (other than to visit the American Bar for a drink when the next suitable occasions suits)

The whole experience from the staff, facilities, the most comfy bed I have ever slept in! and breakfast included was brilliant. We had a blip with our room when I got there and Arthur was great at listening and taking time to give feedback and we got it resolved.
Only two things. When we got there are room was a twin but beds were together and then housekeeping came and moved them and put a table in the middle which made a huge difference, was just a completely different twin room to last time. The other thing was the optional service charge is added on every bill, even when just having one drink.

Location, Anna at reception was lovely and helped me in a pinch, room service was top notch, bellmen were great, martinis in the American bar were great, offered great gluten free options throughout the property, beds were comfy, rooms were well appointed, good mix of guests from all over the world
No nail service available and the gym never got back to me about a private Pilates instruction
