The hotel was exceptional. The decor was classy and elegant without being pretentious. All of the staff we met were polite, professional and very friendly. The American bar and the cocktails they serve are a must for anyone visiting. We loved our overnight stay.
When we arrived there was only one member of the reception team, meaning we had over a 10 minute wait to be seen. Although our room was lovely I woke up with a backache and the hubby had a stiff neck from the pillows.

Staff were helpful and very clean hotel
Rooms a bit too small especially for the price etc.. and was disappointed with the “spa” area as it is only a small pool and area not really a spa. Also breakfast was a bit disappointing as ordered in the room, was. Old and toast was a bit stale as well as they forgot a couple lemon items to which we had to ring room service twice!

The swimming pool and spa. Great help there. Alert staff and facilities.
Honest to god this is like staying at Faulty Towers. It’s total chaos most of the time with fawning British attention and silly over kill. The electricity is something the Brits just can’t seem to get right for Americans. I was hoping the savoy would help but no , their attempts to mitigate it this time ruined my electric toothbrush and a sleep sound device. The maid so thoroughly put everything away each day we forgot our sun hats when we left for Florence. While the big English breakfast was exquisite each morning the gallery restaurant was so chilled by the Aircondition it was a race to eat it while it was still warm. We tried the alternative River restaurant (no river the trees block out any view of the Thames). Equally cold and with the poorest service of the hotel. A dismal machine made cup of coffee and the same disinterested wait staff. We had tried dinner there with the same dismal results. They should close down this fraud.

Everything. It is my “go to” hotel in London and it is perfect in every way. The staff is exceptional, and their service is top-notch. There’s not anything they won’t do for you. Shout outs to Tony, Rob, Michael - the best doormen anywhere in the world. Also to Caesar. The accommodations are also wonderful. I was upgraded to an art deco jr. suite and thoroughly enjoyed it! I felt ensconced in luxury. I dined at the Savoy Grill and every dish was superb.
