Everything. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and made you feel special. The location is perfect for getting around London, with easy access to public transport or on foot.

The staff in every part of the hotel, who were unfailingly cheerful, personable and helpful.
Our advance booking of a celebratory afternoon tea was mistakenly in for the previous day. Fortunately the staff were quick to rearrange our booking, but this might not have been possible on another day. As we were resident in the hotel at the time of the mistaken booking, a call to our room could have alerted us to the error and spared us embarrassment and anxiety when we turned up for the meal the next day.

The location was easy to find and we were able to leave our car for it to be parked for us which saved us the stress of finding parking.
Our room had everything we needed it was very comfortable. I was so pleased to see the element of cleanliness as one would expect but is very important to us.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble the food was exceptional as were the wine and cocktails.
I can not say that there was anything we didn't like it was perfect for us. We had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to going back again soon.

The Savoy is undoubtedly a beautiful and luxurious hotel, with a wonderful atmosphere that immediately immerses you in a classic British experience. The décor, history and overall ambience are very special.
However, considering the exceptionally high price, our stay did not feel as extraordinary as we had expected. Our room had virtually no view, as it appeared to be partly below street level—we could only see a small section of the street above. When paying this much for a hotel room, it is reasonable to expect at least some kind of pleasant outlook.
The breakfast arrangement was also disappointing. Each guest receives a £45 allowance, which makes the experience unnecessarily uncomfortable, as you find yourself calculating what you can order without exceeding the credit. At a hotel of this standard, breakfast should feel generous and effortless, not like something guests need to budget throughout the meal.
We also felt that the staff sometimes assumed guests already knew how everything worked. For example, we were asked to choose between two restaurants for breakfast, but nobody explained the difference between them. These may seem like small details, but clear and attentive guidance is precisely what elevates a luxury hotel experience.
Overall, The Savoy is an impressive and very British hotel, but at this price level, we expected the entire experience to feel seamless and truly exceptional. Unfortunately, that was not the case during our stay.
