Some of the staff are exceptionally good.
A small minority of staff aren't up to scratch for a hotel such as The Savoy.

Location great, facilities great. Bed really comfortable especially the pillows. Food in the restaurant was first class
We would have liked to sit in the reception area for a coffee on our return in the evening, but were told no you need to go to your room!!!

Honestly cant think of anything. The entire stay was an absolute dissapointment.
We made our complaint to the hotel on checkout. They had to admit complete failure and refund us £800.

Difficult to complain about the Savoy. It's the Savoy. An amazing hotel without an overbearing or sycophantic approach to guests. Made to feel most welcome. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys and can occasionally afford, the finer things in life!
We also ate in the Savoy Grill. It's impossible to suggest anything that isn't wonderful, although a lesser checkout charge would be welcome. That said, you get what you pay for.

Close to many theatres
When checking my bank account I discovered I had been overcharged £143 .51 this is the second time I had been overcharged I contacted the savoy the money was returned but I got no apology I was going to ask for my discretionary service charge back (over£100) but unable to contact savoy via booking.com When getting out of a taxi the door man was too busy on his phone I walk with a stick so I have great difficulty getting out of taxis
