Fantastic location! Very close to a tube station off the circle line, quick walk to popular attractions, fairly quiet area. Clean room and friendly staff. There is also a lift to the floors- no dragging your luggage up stairs.

The hotel really has a very special charm. Located above a pub and in the heart of Westminster, it has a fantastic location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast consisted partly of a buffet and an à la carte breakfast, which offered vegetarian options in addition to the classic English breakfast. The room was also beautifully furnished and very cozy. I would book this hotel again for a private trip.

I liked the location. It was very central to a lot of sightseeing.
The mattress was extremely soft and lumpy. The bed pillows were flat. The night stand was extremely small. There were no power outlets in the bathroom to accommodate international voltage converter for curling iron, etc. The bathroom toiletries did not include lotion. The hallways power out to conserve energy so it is pitch black if you arrive to your floor after dark and it smells like stale beer.
