Great location and comfortable bed.
The carpet smelled musty and the bathroom floor was not clean.

The Sanctuary House was delightful, the perfect location a block from Westminster Abby, centrally located between Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, and a one minute walk to the underground. The rooms were clean, large and beautifully appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay in London while maintaining the classic old world feel we wanted, as opposed to a large non-descript modern chain hotel.
Nothing not to love.

Very Good
Room well appointed and stylish whilst comfortable. Great to have bathroom gels loose and no locked down. Iron in room positive. Double shortbread and water appreciated
Room 504 - Super loud and intrusive vibration (Aircon directly above on roof ??).
My daughter ordered a coffee at breakfast and we were surprised to be charged £4 - surely that should've been included in breakfast. Especially at this price point of hotel

Wonderful
The rooms were cosy and well decorated.
The location was perfect.
Breakfast was top-notch, some of the best I've had!
Check in/out was easy.
Great selection of beverages in the room and biscuits.
Loved pretty much everything about it, the only comment I have is the bathroom steams up quite a bit. Couldn't find an extractor fan switch or something of the sort.

Perfect place to rest your head and explore London. Very well appointed and quiet rooms. Lots of nice touches like the fridge and coffee machine. Spacious bathroom and shower was great. I liked the connection with the bar and the atmosphere. Also had dinner witch was great value

Everything was perfect. Albeit the rooms are quite small they are perfectly formed. Attention to detail was spot on and there was not a speck of dirt anywhere in the bedroom or bathroom.
Breakfast menu, served in the pub downstairs, was very good with a varied ed menu. The cooked breakfasts were very substantial with all fresh ingredients. The staff from check in to departure were very friendly and professional.
That we didn’t stay there longer so will have to go back!

Poor
Loved the location, and parts of it were very lovely and charming.
There was a sound in our room, a high pitched squeaking noise, my husband believes was the AC fan/motor that needs maintenance, it made it impossible to sleep, even with ear plugs in. There were large canvas tote bags lined along the hallway outside our room each day - very unsightly, and while the room was quaint, the bathroom/shower was not great. The shower especially for anyone taller than probably 5’9, my husband is 6’2 and he had to slouch in the shower because the shower head is so low.

location was excellent and breakfast was great.room was nice size and clean.
Vey disappointed that last minute we were advised that we needed to switch rooms due to a problem.with room we had booked. We were not advised that the room we received was a handicapped room. In the bathroom a shelf over the sink made it impossible to wash your face without soaking the entire floor since there was not a lot of clearance room.We would not have picked this room if we had been advised. Also shelf space for toiletries was very limited for 2 people.
