Very Good
The breakfast was excellent - lots of choice, freshly cooked and large portions. Having a pub downstairs was a bonus.
IT related - the online registration was buggy and the WiFi didn't seem to be compatible with VPNs

Warm homely type feel this hotel is elegant and classy the staff are friendly and so welcoming and the bar/restaurant staff are so helpful and the food was incredible some real homely type food

Great facilities,fantastic location,friendly staff.
We also had a free upgrade, so all around a win!
We have stayed many times in the past, and there is a good reason we keep coming back.
A minor point,in the past there was a complimentary London Pride in the fridge!

Breakfast was good. A good selection of morning baked goods. Different choices of breakfast meals.
SANTUARY House underwent renovations in 2023. I feel the bathroom design is poor with 1 non movable shower door in the walk in shower. There should be a shower curtain to prevent water coming to the bathroom floor. The bath tub and shower combo bathroom not good with one non movable glass door forcing the user to climb over the tub in one opening. The tube too high to climb in for small children and short adults. There is NO fixed handle as a wall attachment to help people to climb out of the BATHTUB and NO non slip tub floor mat to help people to maneuver in the soapy water. This is a potential hazard for older adults to fall and break something.

Great place to stay. Room was comfortable and although very small was perfectly acceptable. However it was a bit stuffy - it could have done with some fresh air. Which makes me wonder if it needed a deep clean.
Breakfast was acceptable but cleanliness was poor. The mugs smelled of dirty washing up liquid and dirty bodies. I asked for a clean one which resulted in another equally smelly mug.
Washing it out with clean water helped.
It makes me think they don’t clean their machines, and I wonder what else needs a deep clean.
