The one thing I did not like, although it is keeping with the theme. I did not enjoy the fact the shower was not separate from the tub and there was no curtains to keep water from splashing.

Location was excellent. Able to get anywhere quickly. Bed was so comfy but a bit small compared to what we are used to.
Shower instead of tub. But the tub was beautiful.

The decor was stunning, the age, the history, the mood lighting. They’d thought of everything, breakfast was delicious, when we had a fuse blow in our bathroom it was quickly fixed, service was lovely, it’s so quiet for a central London hotel. Everything is just so beautiful! Will stay again for another special treat in the future :)
No coat hooks and a little bit dark in the daytime in the bed room.

Beautiful reception areas, a really handsome building and lovely to spend time in. Gorgeous atmospheric room, clean and comfortable with wonderful period furnishings. Excellent room service and your needs catered for 24 hrs a day.
It's an old building so sound carries.

The extra touches like the honesty bars, complimentary chocolate cake, and the small patio were lovely.
I was woken a few times by the next door person coming and going to their room in the night but that isn't the fault of the hotel!

It’s beautiful and atmospheric, exquisite Georgian restoration of historic building -loved it. The staff were attentive and every detail was special including amazingly well stocked honesty bar in the library so we felt as though we were staying in a private townhouse.

Bed was comfy and staff were helpful.
No lift was a long way up to top floor. The room was noisy during the night from market. Breakfast arrangement was not very good ,had to pre order then find somewhere to sit.

Very charming and super cosy
A station with a kettle and a coffee machine in the room would have been great- ofc we ordered tea in the morning via the room service and it was punctual and nicely served but still I think a kettle would have been a must!
