Good
The staff were really friendly & it was close to the tube station & a starbucks. The room had alot of character & the bed was quite comfortable.
We've travelled all over the world & this is the first hotel / B&B that we've stayed in that didn't have a kettle to make a drink or a shower that we could stand up in. There was a shower head, but you have to sit in the bath to use it. The room was very dark, with nowhere to do your make up or hair. All the plug sockets were under tables, the rooms were boisy, you coukd hear the neibours & the pillows were very thin when you laid on them, so not the most comfortable sleep. For £800 for 2 nights, it definitely wasn't worth the money.

Excellent historical property. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Rooms very quiet even though right on the street. So much like old London. So much better than a big generic hotel. Very easy to get to many attractions. We will stay here again next time we visit London.

It's quirkiness and cosiness
The beds are very high and if you have dodgy knees, as I do, it's quite tricky to get
into and out of them.

The hotel is a trip to the 19th century; a beautifully decorated and cozy old London mansion. Each room is different in its furnishings. Every piece of furniture is remarkable antique. The staff was cordial and very helpful. The location is excellent; close to Farringdon tub as well as train stations. Walking distance from everything if you enjoy walking cities. Excellent bed.
Cozy and beautiful, but very impractical rooms, particularly the bathrooms, closets and the location of the electrical plugs, probably to be expected in an old London mansion.

Charming, cozy. Bed super comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff.
If sensitive to noise, can hear sounds of the city at night, even if muffled.

A well furnished and comfortable room and hotel. There were really nice little thoughts like the provision of a usb-c charger. We had a very comfortable night's stay and would love to stay again. All staff were very friendly.
Couldn't find the menu for the mini bar which also looked like a welcome basket

In a world where most hotels go for that minimal, modern look… this place has a charm you just can’t find anywhere else! It’s a true Londoner building, and stepping inside feels like walking into a little museum. The antiques, the paintings, the bed frames full of detail, even the statues dotted around the hotel—it’s absolutely stunning!
A special shoutout to the lovely lady at reception with the Romanian accent…..she was amazing! So friendly, professional, and full of great recommendations. Honestly, the whole team there was fantastic. For the first time staying in London, we didn’t feel like “just guests”… it really felt personal.
We’ll definitely be back!
We loved everything! Forgot to mention the breakfast… delicious

It has so much character, and the boutique feel is lovely. The in-room breakfast feels luxurious, and the staff is so friendly.
