Wonderful
Gorgeous decor in Georgian building - like stepping back in time, very comfortable bed (slept v well), 24 hour reception, very clean and warm, nice breakfast in room
The quirky taps in the sink were a little small so bit tricky getting toothbrush in to stream - but really ! Everything else was so lovely

Location, staff and ambiance were fantastic. Rooms were of high quality, interesting and comfortable
Nit picks only: It would have been good to have a proper shower (even though not necessarily fitting in with the room decor). Would be great to have the option of a service bar for a couple of hours in the day.

Location was phenomenal. Steps from Farrington brings you to circle line and elizabeth line and a straight 40 minute shot to gatwick for £20.
Quiet side street with lots of nearby eateries, some open quite late! Room really was soundproofed. Great bed, full of character. Loved out little entryway and sitting room ( we had the jr. Suite)
The honor bars and mini bar were VERY reasonably priced. Breakfast was exceptional and on time every day we ordered it.
Housekeeping was AMAZING. Beds daily made, bathroom dried and aired as much as possible.
The bathroom was down a small flight of stairs and featured a large bath with fixed showerhead that sprayed everywhere leaving a puddle regardles of how you messed with the shower curtains. Felt really bad for the housecleaning folks who really cleaned it well every single day. Could have been designed better, but water pressure was excellent and no problens with hot water.

Everything. The staff, the decor, the home-from-home, the old world luxury.
A bit noisy from the street but it’s Farringdon.

The staff were really friendly & it was close to the tube station & a starbucks. The room had alot of character & the bed was quite comfortable.
We've travelled all over the world & this is the first hotel / B&B that we've stayed in that didn't have a kettle to make a drink or a shower that we could stand up in. There was a shower head, but you have to sit in the bath to use it. The room was very dark, with nowhere to do your make up or hair. All the plug sockets were under tables, the rooms were boisy, you coukd hear the neibours & the pillows were very thin when you laid on them, so not the most comfortable sleep. For £800 for 2 nights, it definitely wasn't worth the money.

Excellent historical property. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Rooms very quiet even though right on the street. So much like old London. So much better than a big generic hotel. Very easy to get to many attractions. We will stay here again next time we visit London.

It's quirkiness and cosiness
The beds are very high and if you have dodgy knees, as I do, it's quite tricky to get
into and out of them.
