Got upgraded to a bigger room as it was my first time staying with them. Comfortable bed, beautiful bath, clean facilities. It was just perfect.
Great location from Farringdon Station, interesting history, particularly the gin's history, and liked the nod at the gin bar. Plus, they have a house cat called Bagheera! This was a treat for me, and they went above and beyond to make my trip special. Plus, there is a great selection of breakfast that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own bed or downstairs.
You can hear other people in their rooms, but you get that with old buildings, and it didn't really bother me.

This is a wonderful hotel and we were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a suite which was amazing. The hotel is in a great location near Farringdon tube and Smithfield, a very buzzy and historic area. it is in a lovely old building decorated with a lot of character and taste. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There are lovely public spaces including a library and conservatory and the suite we had was huge and very comfortable and luxurious
