Very Good
Friendly staff.
Unique features in rooms.
Comfortable bed.
No shower in bathroom, just a bath with shower head ( but no curtain).
No coffee or milk in room, just kettle and teabags.
Breakfast not included.

Exceptional
This place is a retreat from the world in every sense - hidden away and full of history and comfort. From the beautiful 18th century marriage bed in our room to the bath big enough for two, to the delicious breakfasts delivered to our door, we spent a very special time here and relished every moment. Thank you to the kind and helpful staff and to the owners, who clearly cherish the history of this house, and the city of London, as much as we do.
Nothing! Honestly, it was perfect.

Wonderful staff and management. Very helpful and friendly. Victorian character percolating throughout the rooms, yet the place is well maintained and very clean.

The room was superbly decorated to give a real sense of period.
The common areas were also very beautiful done.
Convenient to Farringdon underground station.
Last but not least the service from the staff was professional, friendly, efficient but unpretentious.

Very Good
The decor is beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
It was noisy at night. The market across the street opens up at midnight which meant a lot of noise.

Beautiful room, loved the whole style of the hotel. Beds were incredibly comfortable as were the sheets, robes and our bath was perfect. We had breakfast brought to the food which was delicious. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout and made us feel very welcome.

Staff were excellent, efficient
Ideally, would have preferred a room with a shower rather than a bath with hand held shower attachment
