Wonderful
Welcoming and helpful staff, stylish presentation, location convenient to our interests and quiet despite being in a busy area.
Restaurant could have been more efficient and the room, though well presented, was small for a travelling couple with luggage

The hotel was lovely quaint clean and comfortable. The breakfast choices were good and of good quality. The staff friendly and attentive. The hotel is well situated with bars and restaurants close by.
Well we picked a weekend where the underground was not open at various points due to works being carried out .
With the extreme weather conditions it was frustrating to only get as far as Hyde Park corner. This of course is outside the control of the hotel which I couldn’t fault.

The location is just excellent. Close to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park and Brompton road Knightsbridge area. Lots of great restaurants and pubs and across the road from South Kensington Tube
Hotel is quiet and beautifully furnished. Small boutique hotel vibe.

I LOVE staying at the Pelham, my favourite hotel in London. It is a fantastic home away from home, cosy & luxurious in equal measure and sited in an incredible location, perfectly suited to eat/ shop walk etc. just out the front door in the lovely neighbourhood including 2 amazing (Natural History & V & A) museums within a block waking and the South Kensington tube station just across the street
Nothing

Wonderful
Staff and location.
Bess are extremely comfortable.
Because it’s an older hotel it can look a little shabby in places but it’s adds to the ambience.

If you would like to feel the spirit of Victorian London including the exceptional kindness of the staff this place is exactly for you! Just on the side of the street opposite to South Kensington tube station. In the building there are so many details preserved you can easily immerse yourself in the history. As for London the room and the bathroom alike were XL. The bed was very comfortable (soft mattress but with sufficient back support), really king size. The bathroom was very clean, stylish with modern insight (eg. two taps but one faucet spout). The ventilation in the room was very efficient (room and bathroom windows and the A/C). In the bathroom you find everything you need. Towels and bed linens were very clean and soft. The room was quiet and rested perfectly every day. You can enjoy also the old library and its interior on site. Dining in or out - its up to you. Kensington Gardens are not further than app a quarter on foot. But... if you do not like how those kind of buildings live, with narrow corridors, wooden "speaking" (just a bit) ceilings, fire doors, slightly slamming (very rarely) with a typical sound, single glazed sash windows, old interiors including furniture may be a modern place is better for you. But if you love or want to experience Sherlock Holmes' times vibe it just throw your hands up and go for a ride!

Gorgeous old building, sumptuous lounge and cosy bedroom
Nothing, although the Cosy room is probably better for 1 than 2

The principal asset of this hotel is it's location. It is beautifully situated in the heart of South Ken next to convenient bus and tube lines and the neighborhood has excellent restaurants, cafés, pubs, etc. whithin walking distance for those who like to experience the non-touristy London. And Chelsea is just down the street. South Ken is an upscale neighborhood so it feels very safe to walk around at night. In the past, I've stayed in Soho, Spitalfields, Fulham, Hammersmith and on the Southbank and nothing beats South Ken.
The hotel is superb. It's cosy, chic and elegant but not ostentatious. The beds are pure Heaven and the bathroom was impeccable. The staff was professional, welcoming, friendly and helpfull.
I didn't stay long enough to find any fault.
