All the staff were very happy and professional, The room was small but excellent especially the decor, The food was excellent and the service was even better, Breakfast was really good too,. This place is a London gem and we will return especially for the free lemonade and pick and mix!
Salmon with poached eggs and avocado was a surplus which it shouldn't be especially as breakfast is £30 each and also there was salmon and eggs on the buffet so in theory the extra charge is for the avocado, we felt that this shouldn't be a extra charge so we just ate from the buffets which was excellent.

This felt like staying somewhere royalty stayed but not pretentious. We were welcomed, bags sorted and communication was fantastic. Room was amazing and location if you're in for a walk around London, is perfect.
Didn't have breakfast but was nice having a nightcap in the bar after a day of touristy stuff.
Stunning place.
Was a bit expensive and two drinks cost us what we pay in Australia for a bottle but it's Central London so to be expected.

I have just returned from a 2 night stay with mu daughter to celebrate her turning 10. The trip was made even more special by staying in this hotel. I had mentioned it was a birthday in my booking note, and we arrived to balloons and a banner in the room, which my daughter was just thrilled about. We also had a birthday card, and a birthday dessert was delivered to the room that evening. She felt like a princess.
The room (classic double) was small but beautiful and comfortable. We had a bathtub and shower, and everything was lovely and clean. The bed was really comfortable, and the blinds and curtains shut out all light which is something I am picky about as I need total darkness to sleep.
The food in the bar was good, if expensive, but that's London. The staff are exceptional. Each and every person we encountered couldn't do enough for us, and were so kind and friendly. Special mention to James. We struggled to get a cab the first night as the rain and wind were too wild to walk in, and one of the door men who's name I didn't get went out of his way to go out and get a taxi on the road in appalling weather for us.
Location is ideal, as it is lovely and quiet but a short walk and you're on Oxford street. I just had coffee in the mornings the restaurant was a lovely setting, busy but with plenty of staff. I will most definitely come back. There's lots right with this hotel but the secret is definitely the staff who all seem to genuinely like what they do.
If I was to be very picky I'd like a small fridge in the room.

Disappointing
The staff were very attentive.
The room was a disappointment. It was very small and not representative of the advertising material on their website and those in Booking.com. It was difficult to dry oneself and get dressed in the bathroom. It was that tiny.
Some of the electrical fittings did not work, while the room itself was overdue a refreshing paint job.
We paid a premium for this hotel, money not well spent!
