The staff who greeted us were so kind and friendly.
The bedroom we were given, whilst at the lower end, it was so sparse and so office-like - I was so so so disappointed. I thought they were going to be cosy, warm and endearing. It was all white wash walls, and brassy, brash furniture used to decorate it.
The bed spread and cushion felt old and dirty. This was meant to be a romantic stay and we felt like we were on a trip with work. Would not recommend this hotel for a romantic weekend in london. The bathroom was nice, and looked fresh however the bath was also not full sized.

Nice lobby
We had a strong air ventilation noise just outside the room, but at least the reception was understanding about it.
The breakfast room was noisy and the buffet not so practical.

The room was great, and also the location. Loved the cookies and chocolate that were brought on a daily basis.
The shades on the windows were not big enough and in the morning the light went in. No possibility to have full darkness in the room. Also, the water pressure in the bathroom was too was too weak.
