The food and facilities at the hotel were really good. The room and bathroom was clean and tidy.
The night staff were really friendly.
The hotel has a major flaw. Some of the rooms back directly onto a terrace for hotel guests. Which means that it can be very loud and busy at night. During our stay there was an event on the terrace, which was meant to finish at 9:30pm but the noise continued on until 11pm. Which is usual for events in central London. However I dont understand why there are bedrooms so close to the terrace. It also takes away privacy from the room, because if you open your curtains there were 20+ people less than a meter away.
I wouldnt recommend this hotel if youre looking to relax and get a good nights sleep.

Staff were all wonderful! Such a warm welcome and everyone remembers your name which is a lovely touch. Excellent facilities, great location and a really lovely room with a shared outdoor terrace space.
Didnt bother us in the slightest but its loud downstairs until around 1:30am so worth bearing in mind if youre after a quiet night! Room was on the small side but pretty standard for central London and it has everything you need, plus the added extra of outdoor space which is rare and was a nice bonus.

Very edgy, different decor but fun.
Terrace bedroom was very tight. Smaller and darker than Mandrake room which was cheaper. Daughters Terrace room noisy by lift. Not much privacy as anyone can walk past your terrace. Would stay again but in a Mandrake Room.
Staff were excellent.
Restaurant and Bar excellent.
Loud and aggressive couple sat next to us in the restaurant ruined our evening.

The Mandrake staff were friendly and made a special effort. We loved the decor - it's really unique. The location is exceptional - you really can't be more central, and yet the surroundings are quiet and calm. We loved our stay.

We adored this hotel - the first hotel where we've slept well due to the lack of noise and the bed being so comfortable. It was fantastic and would return. Loved that it was so exclusive and private.
The only things were the fridge in the room buzzed a lot continuously and there were two hairs on our bathroom toilet floor.

An amazing experience for my husbands 40th Birthday they left a bottle of espresso Martini and a card. We ate in the Jurema Terrace which was beautiful, Adrian offered fantastic service even included a complimentary cake with a candle at the end. We decided to return to the hotel suite at 11pm the room was really cold and it appeared that the heating had locked. Jay was amazing he accepted it would be inconvenient to pack our things up but said it would be worth it as he would upgrade us. The new room was incredible. Breakfast was tasty and again great service too.. I can honestly say the entire experience from start to finish was perfect.
