Exceptional
Bed was comfortable and the shower was great.
Room was very small, only one chair in the room beside a round table and there is enough space for another chair. One person can sit on the chair and the other person on the bed, not optimal. Only one chocolate given on one bed side table; not sure why you would not give two chocolates......

Poor
Good location in Chelsea. Loads of restaurants, pubs and shops just around the corner. The bellmen were very helpful and friendly.
Our room was a deluxe king. It was small and in need of a refresh. The hall carpet was dirty. Needed to leave a day early and was told I had to go through Booking.com. Booking customer service was great and promptly contacted the registration desk where she was told they could not change the booking and would have to contact the reservation manager. She sent them an email request to adjust my booking and told me to check to see if they received the email. The registration desk person was rather abrupt until the desk manager intervened and found the email. He assured me it would be addressed, gave me his card and said to call him if there was a problem. When I went to check out the next morning, the desk person told me the reservation had not been adjusted. I showed him the manager's card and told me he would follow up. He tried to keep the card, but I insisted he give it back. Later that morning, I received the invoice and the adjustment had been made. This is not how a five star hotel should operate.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and always love it! The staff are very helpful and kind, especially appreciated the help of the doorman, George. The hotel is clean and the beds were comfortable. There are lots of spots to sit and relax with friends in the lobby.

Room is comfortable. Great service & breakfast. Nice gym for a boutique hotel
One of the days the housekeeping didn't clean or replace the glasses. Just put the used ones in original place and flipped them as new

Location of hotel and facilities inside were amazing. Love the area where hotel is located
Maybe a little more clarity on the billing. It was very confusing with so many taxes and details we were not aware of

A nice location at queens gate quiet street. The hotel was very nice, the room and bed very comfortable. The bar was fun. The neighborhood had good restaurants, shops and an easy walk to Hyde park. The concierge was very helpful.

Very Good
The staff was courteous, respectful, and accommodating. The facilities were lovely.
The room was very small and the bathroom was challenging. The sides of the tub were very high which made it a bit difficult to climb in and out of. Also the glass door didn’t prevent the water from hitting the floor.

Amazing location and beautiful design. The K Bar had really good cocktails.
We stayed in a queen room and could barely fit inside. It was literally just a bed and two feet walking room around the bed. The bathroom door could only open half way before it hit the toilet. Very cramped and expensive for what it was.

The lobby is picturesque place to relax, and the entire hotel is pristine and elegant. The staff is incredibly kind and go out of their way to help, carrying my luggage and offering me water. If you want to be treated like royalty, then this is a great place to stay.

It’s a beautiful boutique hotel. Location is excellent. The restaurant and gym were both very nice for a boutique hotel. Staff were really nice. Addressed me by my name. Bathroom was small but lovely. The water pressure and shower was spa quality. Highly recommend it.
My room was very nice but the windows overlooked a roof with air conditioners. Rather unpleasant view but I kept the curtains drawn ( curtains were lovely )

Wonderful
We were upgraded to a lovely room which I feel better suited the price we were paying.
Breakfast is very good but very expensive and doesn't give the price option for something small.

Wonderful
The property is well maintained and they certainly take pride in it. The staff is professional and well trained. I especially liked Jonathan, one of the bar tenders. He came to our table after I gave the waitress a complicated drink order. I kidded him to take a seat at our table and join us, and then moved over. He sat down and made the best martini ever. And to my great surprise, he lives about ten minutes from a place we stay in Alicante, Spain.
This is an old hotel that was built in 1910 or so. It has been completely upgraded, but like every old hotel I have ever stayed in like the St.
Francis in St. Francis in San Francisco and the Mission Inn in Riverside, and every other one, the HVAC system was lacking. It is hard to get it to do what you want; i.e. the temperature control has a mind of its own; there are buttons that seem to do nothing, etc. But, I could make it hot or cold and sometimes temperate. I suspect they just cannot do anything about it. But to be clear, I would certainly stay there again.
One more comment: Everyone was super polite, professional and kind, except for one person who was rude when there was a delay/problem and his behavior was unacceptable. Unfortunately I was that person. I wanted to apologize to the unfortunate person at the switchboard who took my call, but did not know who that was so I give that apology now. My sincerely apologies.
