Great Location - Friendly Staff, clean room
Room we had, although Cosy was a little small for 2 of us. It was also really Dark with no additional main lighting which was a bit annoying. Opening up the blinds meant everyone across the way could see into your room so was not an option to allow more light naturally into the room. Only side lamps provided which meant room
Was dark in the day

Very cute area and great aesthetic to the hotel.
Rooms are very small, but completely manageable. Apart from that lots of construction and remodeling going on, so the amenities are down. Also staff are very friendly but on two occasions gave me wrong information, not purposefully though.

The hotel is well-located, there's a photo booth in the lobby, snacks available at the check-in desk, friendly staff, and a rooftop restaurant with a view over the city
The food at the restaurant was disappointing, over-priced, and the wait staff didn't ask for last orders; they just said that the kitchen had closed. I remember when this hotel had newly opened but now public areas in particular look tired, especially given the price.

Very Good
Very good centrally located hotel. Restaurant and bar roof terrace a big plus.
Rooms are a bit tight but just a bit if I'm being picky.

Disappointing
the breakfast wasnt great. we tried various options including full breakfast and the avacado on toast. none were good. the bacon was terrible.
rooms need a lift. what was boho modern 15 yrs ago is just a bit tired now (and yes we did previously visit when the hotel was new). and on a friday evening the reception area has such loud music its more like a nightclub - not at all in keeping with the day vibe. rooms are small with limited facilties.

The hotel is close to markets and shops in a vibrant part of London's east end
The hotel room was oppressive and tired and in our opinion needed re-amped.
There was also a lot of noise from the DJ music in the bar downstairs which went onto 1am - then lots of noise from the room next door as you could hear their TV very clearly, there was also a lot of noise from upstairs - needless to say we didnt get much sleep.
We were part of a wedding party and had booked lunch in the restaurant, unfortunately the service was dire and the quality of the food was not much better.

A great option in east central London, with a top rooftop restaurant, and a Lobby offering the best vibes around.

Great location, really great vibe throughout, friendly staff, great rooftop bar the food was excellent! Room was spotlessly clean, good size for two females who needed to get ready for a night out. Beds were super comfortable and loved the added touch of the radio too!
A few more waters would be nice as was so warm when we visited.

Very Good
The location was excellent and the stay pleasant with staff members very accommodating and helpful . Thank you!
The room smelled musty and looked outdated. It was small and I could hear my Nextdoor neighbor speaking in the next room. The outlets were out of reach for the blow dryers although the staff was very accommodating to provide extension cord (which should have been supplied as this is an issue I'm sure the hotel is aware of).

Wonderful
Loved the design & style of the rooms! Rooftop bar was also amazing!
Service wasn’t as good as the hotels reputation! Expected more for the price of the room!

Pleasant
Rooms very cleverly designed and comfortable.
I had booked two rooms and I was constantly told that I only had one room when I checked in. I had accidentally booked the wrong Hoxton and the other one had called ahead to check if reservation could be moved. But that was not possible, but that was fine. We were told at the other Hoxton that we only had one room but we travelled to the other one anyway. At check in we were once again and repeatedly told that we only had one room. We never felt the attitude of looking into it, but constantly told that we were wrong. What happened eventually was that obviously they found our room but the attitude really threw me off and made me not wanting to engage with staff.

Very Poor
There was construction in the hotel and I wasn’t made aware of it. On top of that, the rate increased during the construction, which made no sense. The pillows and beds are not comfortable. It’s not worth the money. And when I complaint to the staff, the manager’s response was: “though we left a note the night before the work began to warn the guest.” That’s pretty bad.
