This was the perfect stay for our first time to London. We loved the location of the hotel and Convent Gardens is the perfect spot to stay, especially for your first time visiting. It was easy to access the tube and buses. It was very central to all the places we wanted to visit. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I mentioned in my booking we were coming for my friends birthday and they contacted me multiple times before the trip to make sure we were receiving all the amenities in the room we wanted (double sinks, type of bed and view). We chose the courtyard view and loved it. We booked the Deluxe Double or Twin Room. We chose to have the twin beds, which was nice because they were pushed together like a king but we each had our own bedding. The decor of the whole hotel was very chic and clean.

1. It was not obvious where the hotel checkin was!
2. Having to cross the street to breakfast could have been a pain in the rain, and
2. There didn't appear to be a lounge or bar area for relaxing in the evening.

Comfy bed - good location
Lighting had faults and kept us awake at night. 20cm of wardrobe space and not a single drawer in the room. You could order breakfast in your room but there would be nowhere to eat it unless you sat on the bed. Booked a room with a terrace - but the terrace was so small that you had to sit on a bistro chair sideways. At best it was a small balcony. We paid over £1300 for two nights. I have mobility issues and was told there was a lift. However the lift only went to the floor below and had to climb a flight of stairs to get to our room. Stayed at the Travelodge in Drury Lane two years ago and the room there was much better.

Location was perfect for great access to vegan dining. Staff was so welcoming and helpful when we had to get a cab to the train station on a strike day.
This is very minor but a shelf in the shower for personal products would be greatly appreciated.
