Disappointing
Location, comfortable bed
During our stay, the room was affected by significant next-door construction noise as well as constant street traffic noise, which made it difficult to rest comfortably. The rooms are old.
The layout of the room appeared to have been altered with what felt like temporary partition walls to create a bathroom and closet space. The bathroom and closet were extremely cramped, and the partitioned structures made noticeable noise and even slight shaking when opened or closed. Ventilation also seemed compromised in the confined layout.
The closet was so small that it was difficult to access properly, making storage impractical, especially when traveling with a child.
Additionally, I was uncomfortable with the conduct of a staff member who implied that early check-in was contingent upon posting a positive TripAdvisor review. Being asked to leave a favorable review prior to experiencing the stay, and being advised not to mention the check-in process, felt unprofessional.

Poor
The front desk was helpful
The rooms need upgrading . I would replace the old carpets , the rooms were dark and drab . Reminded me of an old Ramada inn

Wonderful
This was our second stay at this hotel. It is comfortable, clean, quiet and in a superb central location. We had breakfast each morning and it was very good. The hotel is great value for money and we will definitely stay there again on our next trip down to London.
I really can't find anything negative to say about this hotel. For a leisure break in central London it simply ticks all the boxes.

Wonderful
Jake and Rashed (spelling) at the front desk were fantastic as were the other team members.
The went above and beyond, offering me tips of where to eat, to go, printing out documents.
Professional, kind, competent and nice.
I spent more time speaking with Jake and he’s exceptional, knows how to connect and build trust with others.
The team overall at the front desk and in the hotel were stellar.
I overheard the manager (he was the person in change so I am not sure about his title) getting very upset with an external supplier but he did this loudly, in front of guests and his team.
It was unprofessional and made me and others feel uncomfortable. I spoke with one of the woman at the front desk as she was clearly uncomfortable. I suggested she give feedback to him letting him know that constructive feedback should be done privately and not in front of guests or other team members. Not is speaking loudly and disrespectful to another person would be permitted.
I’m in the leadership field which is why I am sharing this feedback. The leader may have been right about what he was upset about but he did it in a disrespectful manner in front of many. As a leader, one needs to role model the right behaviors. He would benefit from some constructive feedback as he was unaware of the negative impact he was having and creating an environment that was not comfortable for many..
