Breakfast was adequate - you need to get down early as they ran out of things on a few days
My first room had mold - I wondered when they had the windows open and the system not running. Once I ran the sytem it was immediate. But they were very good to get me out of that room and into a room with no mold and actually more space

Wonderful
We didn't know that on Sundays breakfast starts later than usual, nobody told us. We left without breakfast. Stairs at the entrance that is uncomfortable with the suitcases.

Excellent customer service. So helpful with questions and assistance. Perfect location close to numerous bus stops, tube stations, and easy walking distance to so many sights: Westminster area, Covent garden, SOHO, Chinatown, south bank, west end shows, Picadilly Circus, etc.

Good location. Comfortable enough, but not worth the cost. Expensive for older hotel needed some renovation.
I booked the Grand Trafalgar through Booking.com and paid $1000US for 2 nights. I was actually in the Club Quarters, which I can see at Booking.com for $600m for 2 nights. Misleading.

The property and location great. The rooms not even comparable to a $50 room
Dirty. Bed was broken down and sunken. When we called the front desk, they brought a piece of board and put it under the mattress ?did absolutely nothing!

Overall I had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent, right in the heart of London — just steps from Trafalgar Square and easily accessible via public transport. The staff were friendly, available 24/7, and the free lounge access was a thoughtful bonus for relaxing or grabbing a quick drink.
On the downside, only one of the two elevators was working for most of my stay, and even after both became functional, they were quite slow and frequently crowded. We also learned about a marathon and road closures only a night before, which created some hassle on our departure day. The room was compact and the bathroom was extremely small. Additionally, many visitors mentioned concerns about petty thefts and occasional brawls in the surrounding area, so being cautious is advisable.
