Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. It is walking distance to many of the main attractions we wanted to visit. There is a pun right across the street, restaurants right next door and a Tesco a few blocks away. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Lack of urgency to set up breakfast on Remembrance Sunday - a nationally recognised and very important event for all participants - many of Your guests had to be on parade at 0830. Nothing was laid out on the continental counter and the coffee machine was not on when we arrived at opening time of 07:30 and no one told us - on either of the two times we asked on the Saturday - that hot breakfast was not available until 0800 …. It still hadn’t been put out when we left the dining room after 08:07 to get ready. It would have been so nice to have had a hot meal before we had to go out and stand/march down to the cenotaph (4 hrs)- thankfully we had kind weather but it would have been awful not to have had a warm meal if it had been either cold or wet! Very poor reaction from staff.

Would have liked teapots and marmalade and more bread variety.
The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were too soft. A choice to have firm would be nice.

The hotel is very cozy and has everything we needed. The room is clean and well-kept. Not too small and there is room for everything. The staff is nice and courteous. There is a club for hotel guests that offers unlimited coffee and drinks in a separate and cozy room. The location is great! Close to everything. We walked to almost every major site. We had a great time and will be back again!

A little noisy due to the proximity to the road, take away the boy racers and it'll be okay.
