The location was wonderful - right off Trafalgar and yet on a quiet street. Lots of activity and restaurants close by. Access to bus transportation and within walking distance of many attractions. The hotel itself was very lovely and comfortable. Breakfast and the room was great.

Love historic hotel. Clean and comfortable. Perfect location to many sites and the underground. Near River for evening strolls. Enjoyed the lounge and availability of coffee. Showers were always hot.
Small room, small closets. Breakfast wasn't the best, cold and over priced. An excellent breakfast place is 3 shops up the road.

location is great for both north&south bank, also quite secure and close to some great pubs.

Great location close to Trafalgar Square and easily accessible to Underground Station Charing Cross and only a 5 min walk to the Theatres.
Would have been very happy with Breakfast included in price of the room.

Staff were helpful, but some facilities were not as we expected. eg. cold drinking water was n ot in the room but had to be collected from a water cooler . there was a good choice at breakfast BUT
Scrambled eggs were COLD and smoked salmon was not at its freshest.

The club room space with complementary coffee and tea was very nice to sit in, the free refillable water was perfect for the hot days and very comfy beds.
There was no safe in the room to keep passports, etc. Pair of slippers would also be nice.

Fantastic location, everything is on the doorstep. The room was clean.
The only hotel I have ever stayed in that didn't have a fridge or bottled water in the room. Not ideal during a heatwave.

The room was quite spacious especially after talking with a couple at breakfast who were staying at a nearby hotel and their accommodations were tiny. The location was great for walking to see the sights around Central London.

Location: near Charring Cross (3minute walk) and Embankment (10 minute walk)tube stations, vigorous shower flow,
comfortable bed, effective room-darkening curtains, and staff was accommodating.
No night-light in the bathroom.
