Location was close to the tube station and the theatre we attended We were told to wait in lounge until 1500 but were given the room at 1430 The room cleaning service was excellent with little personal touches
Breakfast was a total disappointment (bacon was dry couldn't cut) sausage tasteless & a huge piece of black pudding. Unremarkable bread and eggs. Bill was wrong (two days breakfast added though we had only on one day). Amended bill (couldn't be printed then) wasn't emailed to me as promised - I had to call for it few days later - it was not on headed paper so couldn't claim as expenses.

We had such a warm welcome from door staff and reception which continued throughout our stay.Delighted on arrival to learn our room was upgraded. We felt it was a special experience to stay in such a beautiful hotel but it also had such a homely feel.
Disappointed to be only staying for one night ...would definitely like a return trip to stay here.

I had a terrible dinner at the property where the staff were rude and the food did not taste good. I told them I did not like the steak and they did not take it off the bill.

The hotel was stunning, really luxurious without feeling pretentious. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, and even remembered our names. The concierge were really helpful to assist with making plans. The location of the hotel is perfect - we walked to the palace, it was close to nice food places, and for everything else we hopped onto the tube at Victoria which was 5 mins away. It was just me and my 4 year old son so it made a huge difference having a welcoming and helpful team look after you. We had room service breakfast which whilst wasn't cheap, was exceptional and we loved eating in our robes. We loved our experience at The Goring thank you!
