Reception, library, breakfast and restaurant all have ambiance and excellent and friendly staff. Rooms are nice and stylish if you are in for traditional style. Nice menu for the breakfast. Bar looks great. Stones did not choose this for nothing.
Getting warm water up in the room for shower & tabs took very long. Bar needs reservation for hotel guests, which is a bit odd.

Location, style and decor, great bar
Room was rather snug but to be fair was well appointed and decorated. Curtains would benefit from having black out lining as light creep comes through and around edges. AC kept turning off after a couple of hours which meant it was v hot during the night and required turning on again. Not great sound proofing as was able to hear voices from surrounding rooms in the early hours.
