Excellent staff. Lovely quirky hotel I booked on the last minute. Can't fault it. I have seen reviews about having to climb to get to the bathrooms; it's an old town house where the 'room' can be over two floors - what do you expect? Would book again.

Great location, very close to museums and Harrods. Stylish rooms, attention to details. Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. Enjoyed our stay, rooms are nice, hotel facilities are great. Really loved small bottles of water they put near the exit, so you can take a bottle with you.
1. A bit confusing breakfast menu. Mix with set breakfast and extras you can order is not too clear. From the first glance it seems that set breakfast is mandatory to order, which is not the case. 2. Discretionary service charge at the check out. It is automatically added to the bill and with the price of the hotel it just does not make sense and feels wrong. Just add it to the price of the stay as extra 20£ out of the 500£ night price is not making a difference. I do tip (and I really do it for the luggage help and room cleaning and etc), but getting £120 tip added in the final bill is not the right approach.

The only thing that let the Franklin down was the bedroom was just a little bigger than the bed so it felt crammed in. The bed was also very hard.
