The Dorchester is more than just a hotel; it's an institution, a beacon of elegance in the heart of London. Our recent stay was nothing short of extraordinary, exceeding all expectations.
From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of refined luxury. The staff's impeccable service was discreet yet attentive, anticipating our every need. The surprise upgrade to a suite was the cherry on top, transforming our stay into an unforgettable experience.
The suite itself was a masterpiece of design, exuding timeless elegance with modern comforts. The spacious layout, plush furnishings, and breathtaking views of Hyde Park created a serene and indulgent haven. Every detail, from the exquisite linens to the state-of-the-art amenities, was meticulously curated.
Beyond the luxurious accommodations, The Dorchester offers a plethora of world-class dining experiences. We indulged in afternoon tea at The Promenade, a truly delightful affair with delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and an array of delectable pastries. The ambiance was simply enchanting, with live piano music setting the perfect tone.
The hotel's prime location, just steps away from Hyde Park, provided easy access to some of London's most iconic attractions. However, we found ourselves reluctant to leave the comfort of The Dorchester, as it offered everything we could desire.

One of the best hotels in the world, if not the best.
Perfect location in Mayfair, close to Hyde park corner. Rooms are exceptional, service is superb, traveling around Christmas time adds even more with the level they go to.

I like newly refurbished hotels. The interiors are so fancy and classic with nice pastel colors. The bed and pillows are so comfortable. The tea and coffee facility in the room is great. Thank you for our anniversary arrangement in the room, the cheesecake was delicious.
The lobby area is crowded this season and the afternoon tea is overpriced.

Th hotel was amazingly beautiful. The food at Alain Ducasse was good too. Breakfast catered for Muslims which was really nice. The heated toilet seat was a highlight. The management put ballon’s and left us some chocolate, cake, and a silk scarf as it was my wife’s birthday.
The room we stayed in unfortunately had hair in the sink and was a bit dirty. The manager upgraded the room but by the time this all happened it had eaten into our stay over an hour. This delayed us from getting ready for the restaurant reservation. I did request the manager to give us a complimentary stay for an extra day but he said no. Never mind won’t be coming back ina hurry.

they added a 5% optional charge to the room rate, should be added to room rate not a charge on the bill that we asked them to remove, also the room, we were informed whilst waiting had a park view. Our view was a roof area with some plants.

Practically everything was perfect
The bed sheets were dirty with poo stains and they accused us of doing them because apparently we didn’t report it soon enough but who goes into a hotel room and straight away takes the duvet off to look at the sheets. We only noticed by chance when in bed
