A special occasion and a stay with my elderly parent.
The staff were incredibly accommodating, particularly Jonathan, whose customer service was outstanding.
Having stayed in numerous London hotels of a similar standard, Virgin remains my default choice. The clever use of space, thoughtful design and consistently excellent customer service set it apart from the competition.
The beds were like sleeping on a cloud, making the stay even more comfortable.
Virgin has mastered the balance between style, comfort and genuinely attentive hospitality. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Very nice hotel, excellent location.
Housekeeping could be improved, a lot of hair on the bathroom floor. Turndown not available as I requested. Decent gym, however, no A/C and so the space was very warm. No sweat towels and no cleaning solution and towels to wipe down equipment.

The overall design is lovely
We were given an disabled accessible room, with no bath. The room also got a weird fake door to wall set up. We went up for breakfast after 10x, there’s hardly any hot breakfast buffet left. There’s been a couple top up to the buffet station, but between us and another table, there’s hardly a hearty breakfast, no bacon ever topped up much to my husband’s disappointment. Also the waitress might be having a bit bad start of day. I cant rate her service as tentative.

Bit lively outside due to the club around corner
Our main issue was the room was freezing. Beautiful exposed brick wall but heating blowing your cold air even when thermostat turned up max
We informed receptionist and an engineer came and said it was fixed however we still came back to a freezing cold room which felt very uncomfortable
We informed receptionist on check out and they just looked awkward and didn’t know what to say.
Very disappointing.

Perfect location, really lovely room and great amenities.
Not the hotels fault but Friday night was super loud outside which woke us up a few times. Saturday night absolutely fine though so assume it was an anomaly.

Room was very clean, steam shower was the best, loved the double sink, coffee machine, decoration. Bar downstairs was great.
Room a bit tight for space near bed. Not enough tea bags.
