Location & clenliness of the hotel
Top terrace & pool, didnt like the staff - too pushy. Just wanted to see the access to the pool- felt i should have been purchasing a drink if i need to be-there

Great location
Restricted access to facilities advertised as available ie couldn’t use the pool or pool bar in the evening due to private events. There was no prior warning about this and no offer of compensation

The beds were really comfortable and we loved the steam shower and outdoor pool.
Was expecting a third bed for my daughter rather than her sharing a bed with her sister, so the room was a little cramped. Breakfast was served by very friendly staff but the wait on the Sunday was over an hour and the portion sizes were small on the Saturday and even smaller on the Sunday and the accaii bowl was room temperature.

The room, while small, was really comfortable. The facilities were lovely. The rooftop bar was a really nice bonus to the trip and the pool was relaxing.
In the toilet of room 416, the sink had parts that were flaked off and not repaired.
The pool was quite dirty, filled with bugs and plants, however I went in it at 4pm in the afternoon so it might've not been like that earlier.

Room was very well laid out and was really well decorated. Although it wasn't very big it didn't feel cramped.
The Hidden Grooves bar was a nice place to finish of the evening.
The in room media was well below the standard you would expect. No connectivity to cast to the screen and the apps available on the TV (Netflix & Amazon) didn't work. This meant it was only Freeview available.
The service on the 7th Floor rooftop restaurant and bar was slow and wasn't up to the standard I would expect for this quality of hotel. It took so long to be seated that we decided to move on somewhere else.
When you pay a bit more for this type of hotel its the little touches that matter and the service didn't meet our expectations.

Very modern and the facilities were excellent . Gary on the reception was very friendly . My wife appreciated the birthday cake when we got back to our room.
The time we had to wait for breakfast each morning . It was all very laboured and not very organised .

Was near to the conference I was going to when I needed a last minute self funded hotel.
They need to fix the price point so they do not feel the need to take an extra £100 damage deposit on checking in. Not had mine back and only slept there, spent hardly anytime there at all really. If they need to up the price if they feel their current price is attracting the wrong type of people. The room was also too small for the price point. Felt like a box room although was furnished nicely.
