The problem was with the mattress, as the bed had big dips in it and after they said that they would sort it out I still ended up sleeping on top for the quilt, for extra comfort.

Breakfast, cleanliness of hotel, location, decor were all great. It was quiet when sleeping at night too, which is quite novel for a hotel.
The sofa bed was small for 2 people to sleep in and the duvet was also small to share. It was a shame that half of the dining/bar area was blocked off but this is due to refurbishment so is understandable. I’m not sure we were told about this though when we booked.

Excellent location in the heart of city center, near to underground station and bus station, in front of the Marble Arch, the iconic corner of Hyde Park. The clean room was very good with all facilities needed. Friendly staff and helpful. Great breakfast buffet for affordable cost. 24 hours check-in service.
