Fast and friendly service. Booking in very security conscious. Lovely vibe and the hotel looks great. Although breakfast was extremely busy, the staff were very efficient in clearing and preparing tables for those waiting. Great work ethic by all staff.

We had a small room with small frosted out window, plus the bed was jammed against the wall so you had to climb out the bottom or over your partner to get in and out of bed.

I recently returned for another stay at The Cumberland Hotel, and once again, the experience was truly outstanding from start to finish.
From the moment I arrived, the welcome felt incredibly personal and thoughtful. Check-in was seamless, and I was warmly greeted by Desmond, who was wonderfully bubbly, engaging, and genuinely welcoming. His positive energy immediately made me feel at home and set the tone for what turned out to be a fantastic stay.
A special mention must go to Youliia, who managed my reservation perfectly. Everything was organised flawlessly ahead of my arrival, and her professionalism and attention to detail really stood out. She made the whole process effortless and stress-free.
Upon entering my room (8008), I was genuinely impressed. The room was extremely spacious, beautifully presented, and offered breathtaking views over Hyde Park and the wider London skyline. It was the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The bed was exceptionally comfortable—easily one of the best hotel beds I’ve experienced—ensuring a truly restful night’s sleep.
What made the stay even more special were the thoughtful touches waiting in the room. The welcoming Easter gifts and the personalised welcome card were a lovely surprise and really demonstrated the hotel’s attention to detail and care for their guests. It added a warm, personal touch that made the stay feel even more memorable.
In the VIP lounge, Pravaika and Navi were absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout, always going the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Their service, along with the rest of the team, truly reflects the high standards of the hotel—they are a real asset.
Overall, this return visit exceeded all expectations once again. The combination of exceptional service, thoughtful personal touches, and outstanding comfort makes The Cumberland Hotel a place I would highly recommend. I am already looking forward to my next stay.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly
Waited 30 minutes in a queue to check in and only 2 guests in front of me in the queue, all staff available were working however check in process itself is too long, room was "ok" despite having a large window we couldn't see through it due to being behind a bricked up wall, complementary mini bar consisted of 2 bottles of water

Absolutely thrilled with my experience at this hotel! The staff's friendliness and helpfulness truly stood out, making my stay incredibly pleasant. They warmly welcome guests and go above and beyond to assist with any needs. Plus, the location is perfect. Without a doubt, it's the best hotel I've stayed at!"
Services are lovely overall! However, it would be great to have a mirror at the table for makeup. Also, adding speakers in the shower would enhance the experience, allowing us to enjoy music while we bathe.

The Cumberland Hotel has an excellent location right next to Oxford Street with great shopping, and very convenient bus and subway connections. Hyde Park is just across the street.
The rooms were comfortable overall. However, we experienced a toilet blockage, which was a bit unpleasant , though it seems more like an infrastructure issue common in some parts of London. Towels were clean but could have smelled fresher.
As expected for London, the price is on the higher side. We were expecting a restaurant in the lobby, but it seemed to be under construction, so there wasn’t one available. The bar was nice, and breakfast was perfectly adequate.
Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay. The only other downside was the elevators, unnecessarily complicated. Would I stay again? Yes, especially with family, as rooms with two double beds are a great advantage.
