Exceptional presentation and welcoming atmosphere, from the moment we walked into the hotel, the decor is very tasteful and cohesive creating a nice warm ambience. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we loved the roof top bar.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and it exceeds expectations every time. The location cannot be beat--it is safe, quiet and close to everything you will want to do in London. The bedding is luxurious and the breakfast is wonderful. I will continue to stay here on my visits to London for work or fun.

I appreciated the location (very safe even for a women alone at night), the premises (just like one might imagine an English manor to be) and the friendliness of the staff. I will definitely return.

The Chesterfield is a wonderful hotel in Mayfair a wonderful position close to amenities, restaurants, parks and in central London. Staff were wonderful, couldn’t fault them at all. We had dinner in the restaurant on Friday evening and I really don’t understand why more people don’t eat there? I know Afternoon Tea is very popular, we had the best Dover Sole there and the starters (my husband said) was far superior to the same starter he had in a very very known fish restaurant in Mayfair (Begins with an S!) The level of service was to the standard we have received stay at other luxury London Hotels (Ritz,The Goring and Savoy) We will definitely be back.

Nice traditional hotel
The staff in reception and breakfast excellent
The only sad point was I paid for chocolates and champagne to be placed in the room for my wife’s birthday when we arrived
Sadly let down by the room staff
No champagne in room when we arrived even though I specifically asked and paid good money for the service.
And when it do arrive it wasn’t even chilled so surprise spoilt sadly
And then afterwards ice bucket and bottle left in room by cleaners for two days until I personally moved
Just a small detail which takes the edge of a special occasion and the hard work and fabulous services provided by the other staff
But I’d definitely recommend the hotel and and front of house staff etc

It is right on top of a tube line so could hear the tube every 10 mins.
