Comfortable extra large bed.
Being told the price was more than Booking.com confirmed price. Only on query was I told it was a ‘discretionary 5%’.
My credit card being charged an additional £100 on arrival. On departure I was told it would take 3-5 days to refund.
Large plastic toiletries screwed to bathroom wall - really? In a 5* hotel???

The staff were incredible! Any time we needed anything, they were very prompt and helpful. The hotel was very clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable and nice. We would definitely stay here again.
The location wasn’t my favorite just with it being in a touristy area. It definitely was close to a lot though.

The truly hospitable welcome by the all the reception and dining staff, the comfort, the small touches all combined to provide a warm and memorable stay - There was a continual supply of bottled water replenished every day - a small thing but meant a lot, a chocolate left beside the bed at night. The bedrooms were very well appointed and the housekeeping staff maintained the rooms to an excellent standard. The location was perfect for musical theatre shows and shopping.

We really loved the hotel — the interiors were beautiful, the signature scent throughout the hotel created such a lovely atmosphere, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay.
Overall we loved the hotel and our stay. We would have preferred a room with a view rather than one located next to the lifts. I had also written in advance to explain that my mum was recovering from an illness, and a staff member kindly mentioned that they would leave a note in the room, but unfortunately nothing was there on arrival
