Wonderful
The location, the rooms the helpfulness of all the staff who go out there way to make sure you feel very welcome.
My only negative from our stay was being able to hear the room next to us. would have hoped for better sound proofing.

Disappointing
The only thing to recommend this hotel is the location.
I have never stayed anywhere with such poor value for an expensive room.
The room was clean but very small. The staff were friendly but obviously struggling to cope - the service was terrible. At breakfast, the person who seated us asked for a drinks order, but these never arrived. No-one came to take a food order. When we ordered further drinks they did not arrive, and tables around us were used but not cleared. The staff were harrassed and the environment was noisy and cluttered. The hotel feels small, dark and claustrophobic, there is no natural light or space.
When we checked out there was a huge queue of people with complaints and problems - again the staff just struggled to cope. There are plenty of lovely hotels in Bloomsbury that charge half the price of this one - I had expected some extra quality at The Bloomsbury for a special occasion. I won't be wasting money here again.

From the moment you arrived there was a warm welcome the staff were super efficient and we we able to check in early. The room was beautiful everything you could possible need. The bed was comfortable the linen soft and luxurious. The towels soft and fluffy.
Breakfast was delicious 10/10 .

The hotel is in su h a great location, staff were excellent from consierge to bar staff, great breakfast and the beds were so comfy. The turn down service was nice and we were left fresh water daily.
Our room was next ti the lift, and other guests were noisy when going to their room late so next we would ask if we could stay in another location of thr hotel.

Great location for exploring central London. The staff in all areas of the hotel were all absolutely lovely and very helpful.
There was a comfortable lounge opposite reception and as the weather was very chilly I'd have liked to have relaxed there with a book while having a brandy, but no drinks are permitted in the lounge. A small point only.
