Went for our daughters 18th birthday
We took our dog George and this is the first properly dog friendly hotel we have been too!
Opposite Green Park and very close to the tube
Very friendly staff
Loved the decor
We had a really special experience, from the doorman to the chef who came out to give George sausages!

Breakfast was modest , no much varieties, during our 5 days stay not changed.

The room was spacious and the hotel in a great location. The concierge and door staff were very attentive.
It's hard to describe the hotel as a 5 star hotel. The service was hit and miss, reception staff talking amongst themselves or arguing in front of you. Upon arrival, we were missing our child's bed from the room and extra towel, robe etc. The tea, spoons and glass weren't replenished on the second day. And when we checked out the hotel tried to charge £130 for our child's bed when we had already paid through booking.com the full cost of the stay for the 3 of us. The Duty Manager removed the charge but kept trying to make the point as to why we should be charged.

the bathroom sanitary fixtures are old outdated and uncomfortable to use . and the water coming from the tap not soft and slimy .
i used first day the bidet spray to found water did not drain properly , so i had to call maintenance to my room to fix the issues .
the bath tub presents a safety hazard because it is raised above the floor ,getting out of it can be difficult , especially for older guests , and there is a significant risk of slipping and falling .

Outstanding staff, very attentive.
Comfortable bar with free drink for guests between 6pm & 7pm.
Bathroom (hotel) needs modernising with walkin shower (without an over bath shower .. dangerous) albeit it was super clean & functional.

The location was good only
They took €75 as deposit,but while checking out didn’t return the money immediately ..receptionist told money will be back within 3 days..why? Food was not up to the mark..the room was given to me doesn’t have any front view.From a 5 star hotel,the service was not up to the mark.

Service was awful they forgot our drinks in the bar they didn’t have the whole menu and they forgot our tea. In the morning they forgot our coffee but they were very understanding when we pointed this out and tried really hard to make things right. Maybe they need more training or are a bit over worked p
