Fair
Location is stellar. Near the West End, the Royal Opera House, the National Theatre, the Courtauld Gallery......superb.
The cocktail bar is quite nice; the hotel has made some effort toward having public spaces. The staff was helpful, particularly about baggage storage, and the concierge was very good about taxis.
Rooms VERY small. Shower does not get hot enough and only has FULL on/off (doesn't work at any other flow level whatsoever. Rainforest head nice but not with the other problems.) Locked soap/shampoo dispensers are set at the cheapest, most parsimonious levels imaginable and it takes forever to shower because of this. Thermostat digital and does not work properly. Lifts are slow and there are only three for a hotel with nine plus floors?!?! This was especially bad on Sun. during checkout time! Hideous glaring lights in the bathroom which cannot be muted or modified in any way. No refrigerator. Bed very small even for a UK 'queen' size (smaller than standard.) Several power/light switches far too close to floor--very uncomfortable to manipulate. Room doors EXTREMELY noisy and obnoxious when slamming/slammed shut (and even when just closed normally.)

Location, location, location...friendly staff, abundant breakfast (get downstairs early, at 09.00 there was a queue) and comfortable room. Would certainly recommend.

Wonderful
This is more than just a hotel—it is a piece of London's historical heritage. The hotel makes an impression as soon as you walk in; it is enormous. The hotel's Christmas decorations were impressive. The staff were extremely pleasant. The room was a little chilly because the windows weren't very airtight, but it was possible to adjust the heating. A pleasant surprise awaited us in the room – a souvenir water bottle and chocolate.

Good
A lovely clean and comfortable room, although small considering the price
Great location for covent garden, Leicester square, west end and tube nearby for other locations
Staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpfu
Small rooms, ours was noisy with the air con right outside so not great value considering it's a luxury hotel

Wonderful
The breakfast was the same everyday, but we liked the choices and quality. Every staff member we talked to was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The hotel bar staff were great. Great location. We’d gladly stay here again.
Our room has a bit small. We worked it all out but it was tight for our three night stay, longer would have been more challenging.

I like that the hotel has a very welcoming dining room and bar and which is very convenient. The cleaning crew/housekeeping were very friendly and obliging
The service was sometimes slow in the restaurant especially outside of peak times.

Wonderful
We loved the breakfast. We loved the location. We loved that someone came and fixed our AC at 3 am within 5 minutes of calling.
We loved that we could store our luggage before and after check out. We loved the lobby and the cocktail bar.
We did not like the reservations girl we talked to on the phone before we booked the rooms. They mislead us about the rooms.
We did not like that the bathroom in one of the rooms smelled bad the 1st day and it didn’t look cleaned.
