It is a beautiful hotel in the heart of London. Very comfortable.
The rooms were small

Amazing stay for our first time in London! Would 100% stay again. We had the standard double room for 2 people with 2 bags each and we still had room in there for all of it! Best location in convent garden and the staff were incredible and were so attentive to our needs.
I liked everything!

Disappointing
Location is excellent but the staff is horrible.
I found it frustrating that the staff often didn’t remember or note down requests. I would ask for something, and by the next day, it was like it never happened—they’d say ‘oh no’ or act surprised. It made the experience feel disorganized and less attentive than expected.

Have stayed here before - a lovely hotel in an excellent location. Staff are great.
Rooms ( even upgraded rooms} are tiny. Lifts in the morning are a nightmare - waited 20 minutes one morning.

I was attending a function at the Savoy Hotel across the road so the location was perfect
The TV in my room was broken although not a major concern
Then a long wait in a queue for a table for breakfast.
Next time I'll eat elsewhere

The ice machine was a game changer! The fluffy towels were so luxurious. Massive room, comfortable bed. Love everything about it!

Good
Location was ideal for what I was doing.
Very central for so much of London
The toiletries provided were very nice
Plenty of plug sockets but a very small bedside table cluttered with the telephone.
The room was a superior single room. Very small absolutely no outlook other than the yard. The wardrobe boasted three hangers, so positioned so I could not hang either my dress or skirt due to the configuration of safe etc. The shower cubicle had a very high step, a handle inside was helpful but nothing outside to help getting back out.

Good
our room was spacious and clean and met our expectations apart from very sparse toiletries. There were no flannels, slippers, dressing gowns and the soap dispenser was difficult to extract sufficient soap. The shower was good but you had to be very careful as the water was piping hot if you mishandled the controls.
The breakfast was okay apart from the fried eggs that were like bullets and appeared to have been cooked hours beforehand. We had to queue at around 9.30am but for only 5 minutes. Something should be done so as to present a fried egg that is hot and fresh with a runny yolk - my yoke was hard and cold. My wife even told the chap who was serving the breakfast but her complaint was ignored.
The fried eggs at breakfast as outlined above. Lack of toiletries as mentioned above.

It is situated in the west end which was good for me to get around. The staff were very helpful as and when I needed it.
Make it a little easier as and when extra items needed e.g coffee sachets or toilet rolls

Poor
Location and reception staff were pleasant.
Room was tiny with a tiny window. Really small for the price. Had to queue for ages for breakfast. Really a terrible hotel experience all round.
