I enjoyed my stay at Strand Palace. The location was perfect for exploring London. I had a very positive experience with the staff. In particular, the lady at reception who assisted me was kind and welcoming and she left a very good impression on me. My stay was comfortable and pleasant, and I would happily consider staying at Strand Palace again on my future visit to London.
The room was comfortable, but the window let in almost no natural light, which made the room feel quite dark during the day.

The location is superb for Covent Garden and some of the theatres. Plus it’s bang opposite The Savoy. The staff are very polite, especially the porters looking after the left luggage.
The bedroom was tiny! One side of the double bed was completely against a wall which made me feel claustrophobic. Plus it was noisy; we could hear the hustle and bustle from The Strand. The air conditioning was set to 19 degrees as the lowest temperature. When I awoke in the night, I felt hot - but the temperature would not decrease.

Great location and grand building. Nice street view from window. Very clean rooms. Rituals toiletries. Comfortable mattress. Staff were friendly.
Just a few small inconveniences. We had two rooms which weren't near to each other as I'd hoped and requested. The family room had a sofa bed which had a duvet slightly too small for two to share so with two children under it it didn't cover either side fully. It's a very busy hotel so lifts take a while to come.

The Location is great and the room was quite spacious.
The lift was very slow and there was always a long wait for it. I usually walked down from the ninth floor. There was no door to the bathroom, even though it could easily have had one. My room was noisy, but not from the street; it was more like the sound of air conditioning. Perhaps the machine was positioned right outside my window.
