Hi! I just wanted to leave a quick note to say how amazing my stay was in London. The staff were truly wonderful—so attentive, caring, and always listening to what I needed. There’s no doubt that this hotel is in a great location for all the major London sites.
The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, the bathrooms spacious and clean.
Nice bar deceptively hidden and friendly staff.
Our check in was very rushed, our booking was for two Superior Queen rooms with a large double bed. I’d previously stayed in one of these rooms which was very spacious and as I was treating my guests that’s what I was expecting. At check in I was told we were getting an upgrade to rooms with two double beds in each. Well it wasn’t really an upgrade for us as the beds swallowed up the rooms, so I was really disappointed. I was told that the bookings had to be balanced, so I suspect that the rooms with a single double bed had been reallocated to other guests despite us having booked months previously.
The £100 deposit for each room which was a bit steep and is refunded if you don’t use anything, wasn’t explained either, thinking I’d been overcharged I made a return visit to reception to have all the above clarified which I could have done without.
The bathrooms were clean and lovely but our sink had a very large dirty crack in the bowl. Not something I expect in a 5 star hotel or any hotel for that matter. Our guests commented that the water from their shower was dangerously hot and despite trying everything they couldn’t cool it down, consequently they didn’t use it for fear of being scalded.
Our room looked out onto an office, the room has internal blinds in the windows which we could not adjust so we felt like we were in a gold fish bowl.

The hotel's location is great. There are subway stations nearby. It is easy to walk to the Embankment for the tube or the Uber ferries. The hotel is nicely decorated. The breakfast is great with a lot of options.
The rooms lack a good place for the suitcases. That is the only negative thing to comment on - so generally really good.
