the staff was amazing and extremely polite. The placement was perfect, not in the crowded zone but also close to the center and also to the coach station and multiple metro stops.

Good location, easy to get to and from with the bus. Extremely friendly stuff. Quiet neighborhood which is good for kids. Overall comfortable and good value for money
Breakfast is not varied enough and tight on time and space. Family room was also not in great location inside the hotel and a bit small.

The staff was exceptional. Excellent customer service. The room was clean, the hotel location is excellent. They were very accommodating and they offered to store my bags after check out for the day.
The major problem with this hotel is that it's an old Victorian building that, though it is well maintained, it is a wooden structure with very thin walls. This means that there is a lot of noise. I woke up to the sound of the hair dryer from the room next door at 6:45 am. Granted, I'm very sensitive to noise, specially at night, but I could not have even one good night of sleep after 4 nights. Another thing that doesn't help is that you get housekeeping knocking at your door after 8 or 8:30 in the morning. I did not have a "do not disturb" sign to hang on my door handle. If you're easily bothered by mild noises, I would suggest you send staff an email before your stay to see if they can give you the furthest far removed room they have.
