The location.
1. Considering the cost of 4 nights @ AUD$5,004, I was absolutely amazed, surprised and extremely disappointed that I was not allowed to use the lounge. Reason given: the room booked was not in a high enough category, and I could use the lounge if I was prepared to pay £75 per day! A hotel of this high calibre should allow guests to use the lounge without charging extra. 2. At check out, I was told by Benjamin at Reception, that my final account would be sent to my email address, and I was not given a print out to check all the charges. When I looked at the email, I noticed that £107 was noted as “discretionary service charges.” So I returned to the Reception and kindly asked to have these charges refunded,, as I had not been told about them and had not been given a print out to verify all charges. Again, for a hotel of this standard, this was totally unacceptable.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, highly suggest adding to reservation. Location is amazing; less than a 5 minute walk to Buckingham Palace and Green Park tube station and plenty of walkable restaurants and shopping.
The price was a bit expensive but suitable for the area. The temperature in the room kept tuning down by itself, likely a conservation measure but it was frustrating.
