The hotel is hidden...in a good way. manypeople look in the windows but do not quite understand what is this? The Location is fantastic. Close to shops, museums and Kensington Gardens. Great cafe's and restaurants outside. We missed the jazz music but bar and lounge areas were great. We could have sat there and just enjoyed the environment all day and evening. The mistake we made! We needed a larger room with Chairs but that was our responsibility.
Loved the owners slippers. They totally represented the place. Watched his video and loved that his voice was easily understood. Also loved the messages he was sending about Presence and Unique Brand. This felt unique.
The doors to the lift were tight with cases. Needed an easier opening. Maybe a few more people in the lounge in the evening.

Wonderful
We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment that was very comfortable for a family of four adults, it was clean and very well equipped , the bedrooms are very quiet even though the apartment is facing a main street.
The apartments are in the building next door so it’s not a real hotel experience. The bedrooms in one of the bedrooms were very hard .

The location was fab and the penthouse was a really spacious suite with 2 bedrooms. Very comfortable space with great kitchen facilities and staff super helpful. Bar is eclectic and unique and absolutely wonderful. We loved the vibe.
There is no where to hang clothes in the second bedroom not even a small rail or hooks behind the door. There is no mirror at all in the main bedroom which with a shared bathroom is not great with 4 adults. There is plenty of wall space for a mirror, basic requirement really. Beds were not made despite room being serviced and towels replaced after day one.

The location for the Royal Albert Hall and station was excellent
We had a petite room but the configuration made it feel like a broom cupboard.
The sink was too small to be able to fit the kettle in to fill up.
If the bathroom were a wet room without a shower door that would have worked.

Pleasant
We liked the quirkiness of the hotel with its animals and birds, it's beautiful wallpapers and lovely artwork. Our room was tastefully decorated. The staff made us feel welcome. Good air-conditioning in the room.
Our room was tiny, which we were not prepared for. We could hardly find an area on the floor to lay the case flat to empty it and repack it! The toilet area was also tiny, with barely enough room to dry yourself after a shower, and nowhere to lay out toiletries. No room for a chair in the room so had to sit on the bed.
Prices in the bar were eye-wateringly expensive! They try to tempt you with a gimmick where if you buy a round, the next round is on them. When we tried to use it, we were told the drinks we wanted to repeat were not allowed! In the end, we never had our free round.

Quirky design with lots of interesting features. Staff were lovely and helpful at all times.
We booked a signature room to give us what we hoped was more room.
However the end of the bed was about 50cm from the wall which was very difficult to manoeuvre around. This was made even more challenging as there was a tv on the wall which was really in the way. Can’t imagine what the petite room would be like!!!
However the room was immaculate and well equipped.
Bar prices were very expensive. Silver coin and welcoming letter was a nice touch.

Very convenient for the royal Albert hall where we were seeing a show. Lots of bars and restaurants close by which is essential for breakfast which is not served at the property.
The live music and bar downstairs was very fun.
Very quirky decor which was nice.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We were aware of the very small rooms, before we booked so we were glad we booked one of the larger ones, as there was still barely room to put a suitcase on the floor. This is the nature of staying in a hotel that used to be a personal house though.

It was a great small hotel, we strudel in one of the apartments which was perfect for a family of four. However the bed sofa and the pillows could have been of better quality.
It would have been great if the hotel would have had coffee and the bathroom could have been a bit bigger.

Poor
Good location
Petite room with a small p.
The room and bathroom/shower room were ridiculously small. The room was basically the size of the bed and it was flush with the walls on three sides.
Couldn't turn around in the shower and legs under the sink when sitting on the toilet. The smallest hand basin I've ever seen in my life.
For £200 a night that's dreadful value for money
