Beautiful, authentic interiors with plenty of character. Our room was lovely, and the oat biscuits were particularly good.
For over £2,000 for three nights, the breakfast policy felt rather petty. The included breakfast was only continental, with an extra £8–10 for a full or healthier breakfast. No credit for items you skipped from the continental selection either. Not what I'd expect from a luxury hotel. The cappuccino was also disappointing, especially for an Italian-owned property.

San Domenico is located on a quiet street with privacy and proximity to King's road. The interior is ornate and lavish; don't miss the cosy rooftop with a good view of sunrise. The most outstanding feature of this hotel has to be its staff and crew. The reception will go above and beyond - they where so kind to forward an important mail and executed it perfectly.

Staff was courteous, attentive. I felt safe. Premises are beautiful and luxurious. Every comfort accounted for. Rooftop terrace is lovely. Rooms are quiet and spacious.
Did not like calls to my room to see if I had vacated so cleaning staff could go in. Especially given the "do not disturb" sign I had put on the door handle. Fire alarms were also quite disruptive - late at night and in the morning of the second night of my stay. I was told guests were smoking inside a non-smoking space.
