The only thing l liked about staying here was the location to Canon Street tube station. l think the property is better served to anyone arriving here on weekdays if you are actually self catering, or anyone who is happy eating out more so. The property was mostly clean. Passable. It has lots of appliances as listed, but no microwave. It wasn't really noisy with people and traffic of a night. Mostly, everything was clean and passable. Just make sure you put your card in the slot for electrics and aircon to work. And make sure the windows are closed for the aircon to work effectively. The staff are skeleton staff and don't seem to be able to help with any problems. Ok as long as you are aware of this.
The property was let down because the freezer in the fridge was iced up, dirty and needed defrosting and cleaning. The toilet brush handle was dirty also. Little details that were overlooked. There is no microwave, which we needed. I was able to compromise on this. The sofa bed which we required had no bedding. My special needs daughter and l had to share the double bed! Seems you need to request extra bedding in advance if required as there is only skeleton staff once housekeeping is done. If you require a supermarket to self cater, the local one is closed on weekends. l had to go online to get groceries delivered.
You can hear the underground trains very slightly. We were on the second floor.

Location is great for the city and close to tube stops!
We were staying with our 3 month old, the room was great and had a travel cot, however due to the old building access to the room wasn't step free so we had to lift the pram at times, this didn't bother me but I just want to make people aware.

Excellent location, just down the road from St Pauls Cathedral, and more importantly for my daughter, very close to an underground station. I cant remember asking for a quiet room, but I would say that the room was definitely quiet enough. No one can vouch for what goes on outside, but that's London for you. Really happy that they allowed us to leave our bags in reception while my 15 year old daughter dragged me kicking and screaming round Camden Market and several other London shops. Coming back to the stay, very comfortable and brilliant shower. Friendly staff too, which always helps. Many thanks. Good tip for booking - ask for St Pauls view if available. The photo attached was the view from my room - gorgeous.
The noise from the streets outside as a particular football match had taken place that evening with the result being less than desirable for the said London team. However, this is not something any hotel can control - nothing a good movie cant drown out.
